On July 18, the Congress of Party Members of the CPC Committee of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was solemnly convened.

The congress held high the great banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, comprehensively implemented the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and all subsequent plenary sessions of the 19th CPC Central Committee, closely focused on the general requirements for Party building in the new era, thoroughly reviewed the Party committee’s principal work over the past five years, and deliberated and deployed the key tasks for the new era. It also elected the new CPC Committee and the Disciplinary Inspection Commission of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

The atmosphere at the meeting was both solemn and enthusiastic, with 62 Party member representatives in attendance, representing the hopes and trust of all Communist Party members in the company. Together, they deliberated on major strategies for the enterprise’s development and jointly outlined a grand blueprint for its future. The meeting was chaired by Wei Wenliang.

The conference was solemnly opened with the playing of the National Anthem of the People’s Republic of China. Shi Jianhui delivered the Party Committee’s work report, entitled “Implementing the New Development Philosophy and Promoting Innovative, Green, and High-Quality Enterprise Development.” The report provided a comprehensive review of the Party Committee’s work and achievements over the past five years, covering such areas as Party building within the company, innovative development, talent pool development, corporate culture building, and the effective role of mass organizations. The Party Committee has consistently adhered to the principle of “focusing on development through Party building and using strong Party building to drive development,” placing production and operations at the core while effectively integrating Party-building efforts into all aspects of the enterprise’s work. By wielding the red banner to guide the direction of development, employing red management to stimulate intrinsic motivation, relying on a red team to fortify the core of the enterprise, and harnessing the warmth of red to ignite the passion for hard work, the Party Committee has achieved tangible results in Party building that have propelled the company’s development to a new level. As the company embarks on a new journey forward, the Party Committee has clearly outlined the directions for future efforts: first, strengthen Party organization building and continuously uphold the Party’s advanced nature; second, adhere to the principle of Party leadership over talent and enhance both the talent pool and employee development; third, steadfastly implement the new development philosophy and continually bolster the enterprise’s competitive strength. Remaining true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission firmly in mind, we will strive to secure the well-being of our employees and continuously elevate the company’s innovative development to new heights.

Song Mingxia delivered to the Congress a report on the work of the Commission for Discipline Inspection entitled “Upholding Political Responsibility and Accountability to Provide Disciplinary Safeguards for the Company’s High-Quality Development.” Huang Xiaofeng presented a report on the collection and use of Party membership dues.

The Congress voted to adopt the work reports of the Party Committee and the Commission for Discipline Inspection, as well as the report on the collection and use of Party membership dues. In addition, it approved the rules for the election at the Congress, the list of candidates for membership, and the lists of poll watchers and vote counters.

Following thorough and earnest deliberation by the Party member representatives, a differential election and secret ballot were conducted to elect the new members of the CPC Committee and the new members of the Disciplinary Inspection Commission of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Shi Jianhui, Su Xuejun, Wu Hengyao, Song Mingxia, and Wei Wenliang were elected as members of the new CPC Committee of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.; Wang Chunfa, Song Mingxia, and Huang Xiaofeng were elected as members of the new Disciplinary Inspection Commission of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and the results have been submitted to the higher-level Party organization for record-keeping.

Wu Hengyao delivered a statement on behalf of the newly elected Party Committee members. He stated that, in future Party-building work, they will remain true to their original aspiration and mission, stay closely aligned with the actual conditions of the enterprise, and focus squarely on the enterprise’s central tasks. They will emancipate their minds, invigorate their spirits, and unite and lead the broad ranks of Party members and employees in concentrating wholeheartedly on development and pursuing implementation with unwavering commitment. Through a fresh outlook and renewed vigor, they will steadily advance all reform and development initiatives of the company; through new actions and outstanding achievements, they will drive the company’s high-quality development, build a world-class innovative enterprise, and continuously strive to enhance the sense of happiness and fulfillment among all employees.

In his closing address, Su Xuejun emphasized that this was a congress that fostered unity and morale, invigorated spirits, and paved the way for bold progress and innovation. He stressed the need to steadfastly uphold the Party’s basic line and policies, rigorously implement all resolutions adopted at the congress, and align the goals and tasks set forth at the company’s Party Congress with the key work priorities for 2020. By strengthening a problem-oriented, goal-oriented, and results-oriented approach, by carrying forward the spirit of self-renewal and the spirit of struggle, and by ensuring that our thinking keeps pace with the times and our mindset adapts to change, we must make new contributions to the enterprise’s high-quality development!

The Congress calls upon all of us to pool our tremendous strength for high-quality development, to rally even more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, to hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, to earnestly implement the new development philosophy, to shoulder the mission of development in the new era, to seize opportunities and bravely meet challenges, and, with unwavering conviction and an indomitable spirit, to strive to write a new chapter in the reform and development of our enterprise—thereby presenting outstanding achievements as a gift to the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China!

At around 11:00 a.m., the conference successfully concluded all its agenda items and was solemnly brought to a close to the rousing strains of “The Internationale.”
