On August 30, the 2020 (37th) National Pharmaceutical Industry Information Conference, hosted by the China Pharmaceutical Industry Information Center, opened in Zhuhai, where the highly anticipated 2019 Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Companies list was officially unveiled. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ranked 67th on the list and was also honored as the “Best Industrial Enterprise for Pharmaceutical R&D Product Lines in China 2020,” earning a prestigious accolade for our province’s biopharmaceutical industry.
The “Annual Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Companies” ranking, organized by the China Pharmaceutical Industry Information Center, is the most authoritative and socially influential professional evaluation in China’s pharmaceutical industry. The ranking is based on national statistical data and incorporates indices such as new-drug innovation, rational business layout, development potential, and market focus, with enterprises’ legal entities serving as the basis for ranking. As a result, the ranking enjoys high authority and provides valuable guidance for the industry. Overall, in 2019 the combined revenue of the top 100 Chinese pharmaceutical companies reached RMB 929.64 billion, hitting a new record high, with an overall growth rate of 10.7% and sustained double-digit annual revenue growth.
In 2019, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical demonstrated rapid and steady growth, with accelerated transformation and upgrading, continuous optimization of its industrial structure, and distinct competitive advantages. The company’s development model shifted from scale-driven to innovation-driven, with net profit and profit-and-tax indicators growing at a faster rate than output value and revenue, while its innovation capacity and industry concentration both reached new heights. Compared with its own performance in the previous year, the company made significant progress, climbing eight places in the rankings.
