On November 28, at the 2020 Shijiazhuang Top 100 Enterprises Summit, the “2020 Shijiazhuang Top 100 Enterprises” list was officially unveiled and plaques were presented to the participating companies. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical was honored on the list, ranking 16th.

The 2020 Top 100 Enterprises in Shijiazhuang were ranked in accordance with international practice and the methodology used by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the China Enterprise Confederation for compiling the China Top 500 Enterprises, adhering to the principles of “primarily focusing on industrial enterprises, giving priority to local firms, and allowing voluntary applications,” and taking into account recommendations from the economic management departments of relevant counties (cities) and districts, with the ranking based on each enterprise’s 2019 operating revenue.

The 2020 Economic Analysis Report on Shijiazhuang’s Top 100 Enterprises indicates that in 2019, large enterprises in the city—represented by the Top 100—diligently implemented the new development philosophy, proactively addressed risks and challenges, actively promoted transformation and upgrading, fostered new drivers of growth, and maintained a steady momentum of development, continuing to make solid strides in strengthening and improving their performance. In terms of operating revenue, the combined revenue of the Top 100 reached RMB 525.565 billion, up RMB 36.978 billion from the previous year’s RMB 488.587 billion, representing a growth rate of 7.57%. Notably, the top 16 enterprises among the Top 100 recorded total revenue of RMB 431.629 billion, an increase of RMB 36.329 billion over last year’s RMB 395.3 billion, reflecting a growth rate of 9.2%. The pharmaceutical, metallurgical and iron-and-steel, construction materials, and petrochemical industries are the four major pillar sectors that contribute the most to Shijiazhuang’s fiscal revenue. At the same time, the healthy and steady growth of large enterprises underscores their irreplaceable role as the backbone and leading force driving the city’s economic development. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical, as a key industrial enterprise in the city, has vigorously pursued a diversified innovation-driven strategy, resulting in significant improvements in company scale, innovation capacity, brand influence, and market competitiveness, and establishing itself as a leading enterprise in China’s large-volume parenteral solutions industry in terms of production, R&D, and exports.

The analysis report states: “The past year has been an extraordinary one. Shijiazhuang’s top 100 enterprises have withstood severe tests and challenges. According to relevant data, the growth and expansion of these top 100 firms are of paramount importance for adapting to the ever-changing new economic landscape, accelerating the development of the ‘4+4’ modern industrial structure, and promoting high-quality economic development.”
