Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical’s Ciprofloxacin Lactate and Sodium Chloride Injection Becomes the First in China to Pass the Generic Drug Consistency Evaluation

Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.’s ciprofloxacin lactate and sodium chloride injection has become the first generic product to receive approval from the National Medical Products Administration following the evaluation of bioequivalence and therapeutic equivalence. Ciprofloxacin lactate and sodium chloride injection is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic indicated for the treatment or prevention of various bacterial infections.
According to information from the Yaochunqiu platform, a total of 83 manufacturers nationwide have had their products approved for marketing, covering 111 production approval numbers. In terms of bioequivalence evaluation, only two companies—namely Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical and another—have initiated related efforts, with Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical taking the lead by becoming the first to pass the evaluation.
