Vice Governor Ge Haijiao Inspects the Supply and Assurance of Anti-Pandemic Materials at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group

On January 16, Hebei Provincial Vice Governor Ge Haijiao visited Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group to inspect the supply and assurance of epidemic-prevention materials and to provide guidance on related work. The inspection was accompanied by Gong Xiaofeng, Director of the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
As a pharmaceutical supply assurance enterprise, Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical is tasked with ensuring the clinical supply of anti-epidemic drugs and other essential medicines to more than 4,000 large and medium-sized hospitals across China, with a particular focus on Hebei Province and the city of Shijiazhuang.
In the Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, at the oral dosage-form production workshop of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, Chairman Su Xuejun provided a detailed briefing to Ge Haijiao and his delegation on the production, stockpiling, and logistics of key epidemic-prevention supplies, including arbidol hydrochloride capsules and disinfectants.
Ge Haijiao commended Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical’s epidemic prevention and control efforts. He emphasized that we are now at the most critical juncture in the battle against the pandemic, and in the face of a severe epidemic situation, leading pharmaceutical companies must prioritize the overall national effort, operate at full capacity, and make every possible effort to ensure the stable supply of essential medicines and medical supplies for epidemic prevention and control.
Ge Haijiao and his delegation also carefully listened to the difficulties faced by enterprises under the current epidemic situation. He stated that the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government attach great importance to the operational status of pharmaceutical companies during the pandemic and will do their utmost to assist these enterprises in resolving the practical problems they are confronting.
