Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical’s Metronidazole and Sodium Chloride Injection Has Passed the Consistency Evaluation

【概要描述】 Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.’s Metronidazole and Sodium Chloride Injection has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration following the evaluation of generic drug quality and therapeutic equivalence. Notably, the 250 mL:1.25 g formulation is the first in China to receive approval, while the 100 mL:0.5 g formulation is the second.

Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.’s Metronidazole and Sodium Chloride Injection has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration following the evaluation of generic drug quality and therapeutic equivalence. Notably, the 250 mL:1.25 g formulation is the first in China to receive approval, while the 100 mL:0.5 g formulation is the second.
Metronidazole is a commonly used antibiotic primarily indicated for the treatment or prevention of systemic or localized infections caused by anaerobic bacteria, including infections of the abdominal cavity, gastrointestinal tract, female reproductive system, and oral cavity.
To date, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has had 11 products across 16 specifications either pass the consistency evaluation or be deemed to have passed it by equivalence.
