On May 10, the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released the first batch of 2021 list of R&D institutions of industrial enterprises in Hebei Province, with the R&D institution of Shisi Pharmaceutical Group’s Hebei Guolong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ranking first.
To promote technological innovation among enterprises and drive high-quality development of the manufacturing sector, industrial enterprises have actively engaged in the establishment of R&D institutions under the organization and guidance of industrial and information technology authorities at all levels across the province. Following voluntary applications by enterprises and review and approval by the competent authorities, the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has announced that the R&D institutions of 223 enterprises, including Hebei Guolong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Shisiyao Group, meet the requirements set forth in the Measures for the Recognition and Administration of R&D Institutions of Industrial Enterprises in Hebei Province.
The Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has mandated that industrial and information technology authorities at all levels across the province intensify guidance and support to help industrial enterprises upgrade their R&D institutions, and to ensure that already recognized enterprises promptly complete the update of their R&D institution information. All recognized enterprises are required to consistently increase R&D investment, promote the development of new products and technologies, and continuously enhance their capacity for independent innovation. Enterprises that meet the relevant criteria may apply for an upgrade.
