To better serve our employees, the Party Committee and the Trade Union have taken proactive steps to conduct in-depth field surveys of employees’ material and cultural needs. In light of the company’s production and business plans, they have carefully organized a series of heartwarming cultural and sports activities, including badminton events, birthday cake deliveries, and movie-ticket giveaways. These initiatives are designed to enable employees to fully experience the company’s care and warmth, boost their work enthusiasm, and further energize their commitment to the company’s continued development.
“Feather” shares your leisure time
As soon as the notice announcing the trade union’s badminton event was posted, it sparked tremendous excitement among employees—especially those who love sports—and calls and in-person sign-ups at the union office have been pouring in.
“Prior to organizing this activity, our Party and Mass Work Department conducted a questionnaire survey among all employees. The results showed that badminton is one of the most popular activities among our workforce. To enrich employees’ extracurricular cultural life and strengthen the sense of unity and cohesion within the team, the Company’s Party Committee and Trade Union have jointly decided to organize recreational and fitness badminton events for employees, with the ‘Four Medicines Cup’ Badminton Tournament tentatively scheduled for early August,” said Ma Nannan, a trade union official.
According to the introduction, the employee activity venue was chosen to be the badminton hall across from Mingzhu Park, which is located just a short walk from the company. Employees can reach it in a few minutes on foot after work. The event will run from now until mid-July, every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with each session limited to two hours.
A tiny birthday cake card—deep corporate care and affection.
Recently, an exciting piece of news has been circulating among employees: the union will issue a birthday cake card to every active, on-duty employee.
“This is indeed true. We’ve already coordinated with a cake shop to custom-make 10-inch cream-and-fruit cakes bearing the company logo, so we can extend birthday wishes from both the company and the union to our employees in this special way,” said Ma Nannan, a union official.
According to reports, to make it more convenient for employees, birthday cakes will be distributed in the form of gift cards. Employees may, on the Friday of the week preceding their birthday, present their original ID card and proof of current employment at the Party and Mass Work Department to collect their card.
Movie tickets have been issued.
Recently, every employee at the company joyfully received movie tickets. According to the company, in order to enrich the cultural and recreational lives of its employees, it has purchased movie tickets for nearly 4,000 staff members. Taking into account employees’ residential locations and scheduling constraints, these tickets are valid at five cinemas across the city and can be used until the end of this year. Employees can choose a convenient time to visit the nearest cinema and enjoy a film—“even 3D blockbusters from overseas are available,” said one employee who has already seen a movie.
