On September 29, the Shijiazhuang Enterprise Federation and the Shijiazhuang Entrepreneurs Association released the 2021 Top 100 Enterprises in Shijiazhuang list along with an accompanying analysis report, as well as the “Top 20 Leading Enterprises in Shijiazhuang’s Strategic Emerging Industries for 2021” and the “Top 20 Tax-Paying Enterprises in Shijiazhuang for 2021.” In addition, the “Outstanding Enterprises and Outstanding Entrepreneurs of Shijiazhuang for the 2019–2020 Period” were recognized. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical was included on all three lists, and its Chairman, Su Xuejun, was awarded the title of “Outstanding Entrepreneur” for the 2019–2020 period.
On September 29, the inaugural “Shijiazhuang Entrepreneurs’ Day” series of events and the launch ceremony for the Top 100 Enterprises were solemnly held. Ma Yujun, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, announced the official commencement of the first “Shijiazhuang Entrepreneurs’ Day” series of activities.
On December 30, 2020, the 32nd Session of the Standing Committee of the 14th Shijiazhuang Municipal People’s Congress reviewed and adopted the “Proposal of the Shijiazhuang Municipal People’s Government on Requesting the Establishment of ‘Shijiazhuang Entrepreneurs’ Day,’” deciding to designate September 29 of each year as “Shijiazhuang Entrepreneurs’ Day” effective from 2021. The Decision stipulates that a series of activities shall be organized annually on “Shijiazhuang Entrepreneurs’ Day” to ensure that the event is carried out in depth and with tangible results.
Following the launch ceremony, the Shijiazhuang Enterprise Federation and the Shijiazhuang Entrepreneurs Association released the 2021 Top 100 Enterprises in Shijiazhuang along with an accompanying analysis report, as well as the “Top 20 Leading Enterprises in Shijiazhuang’s Strategic Emerging Industries for 2021” and the “Top 20 Tax-Paying Enterprises in Shijiazhuang for 2021.” In addition, the “Outstanding Enterprises and Outstanding Entrepreneurs of Shijiazhuang for the 2019–2020 Period” were recognized. During the announcement of the ranking, Chairman Su Xuejun delivered a speech on behalf of the Top 100 enterprises. He stated that Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has weathered 73 years of challenges and hardships. Today, as we embark on a new stage of development, implement new development concepts, and foster a new development paradigm, the company is fully committed to building a strategic stronghold centered on innovation-driven growth. It has initially established a new business model characterized by the gradual refinement and comprehensive integration of its industrial chain, thereby becoming a vital force in the innovation and development of Shijiazhuang’s pharmaceutical industry. He emphasized that, in the face of today’s complex and ever-changing economic landscape, the city’s 11th Party Congress has outlined an even more ambitious blueprint for Shijiazhuang, presenting enterprises with rare opportunities and a favorable environment for development. As businesses and entrepreneurs, we must enhance our foresight and creativity, embody the entrepreneurial spirit, keep the nation’s paramount interests at heart, cherish these excellent development opportunities, benchmark against leading practices, take proactive measures, continue to strive with determination, and steadfastly uphold our commitment to growing and advancing in tandem with Shijiazhuang’s economic and social development. We should consciously integrate ourselves into the broader movement of building a modern, international, and beautiful provincial capital, and, through new achievements in high-quality development, make due contributions to the construction of such a city!
Zhu Hongren, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice Chairman and President of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, delivered a keynote address titled “Uplift Entrepreneurial Spirit, Work Diligently and Steadfastly, and Accelerate High-Quality Economic Development in Shijiazhuang,” which proved highly beneficial to the business leaders in attendance.
According to reports, the inaugural “Shijiazhuang Entrepreneurs’ Day” series of events for 2021 is hosted by the Shijiazhuang Municipal Government and organized by the Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Shijiazhuang Enterprise Federation, and the Shijiazhuang Entrepreneurs Association. The program includes a launch ceremony, the unveiling of the Top 100 Enterprises, a high-level forum, a government–enterprise symposium, and an entrepreneurs’ lecture series, and will be held from September 29 through the end of December. The aim of this series of events is to enhance the social impact of “Shijiazhuang Entrepreneurs’ Day,” foster a business environment that respects, values, supports, safeguards, and promotes entrepreneurship, bolster entrepreneurs’ confidence in innovation and development, and inspire their vigorous drive to achieve new successes through hard work and enterprise.
