On March 6, the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group issued the “Notice on Launching Study and Education on the History of the Communist Party of China,” making arrangements and deployments for the group-wide implementation of such study and education.
The notice points out that 2021 marks the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Launching Party history study and education across the Party is a major decision made by the CPC Central Committee to build on the Party’s new historical starting point, to coordinate the strategic overall situation of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with the unprecedented global changes unfolding over the past century, and to mobilize the entire Party and the whole country to devote themselves with full confidence to the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country. General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the mobilization conference for Party history study and education was visionary, far-reaching, and profoundly insightful; it thoroughly expounded the profound significance of conducting such study and education, clearly outlined its key priorities and work requirements, and provided a comprehensive mobilization and deployment, thereby charting the course and providing the fundamental guiding principles for the Group to carry out this initiative effectively.
The notice emphasizes that all levels of the Group must thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, conscientiously carry out the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the work requirements of higher-level Party organizations, and steadily advance all tasks related to the study and education on Party history. The goal is to educate and guide the broad ranks of Party members and cadres within the Group to study Party history, gain insight into its guiding principles, deliver practical results, and open up new prospects; to highlight the distinctive features of the enterprise; to integrate learning with practice; to ensure that the benefits of such efforts contribute to innovative development; and to underscore a sense of responsibility and proactive action. In doing so, we must ensure that our study of Party history leads to a clearer understanding of its principles, stronger confidence in its guidance, greater reverence for its moral values, and more resolute commitment to putting its lessons into practice. This will further strengthen our “four consciousnesses,” consolidate our “four confidences,” and ensure that we “safeguard the core” of the Party, while continuously enhancing our political discernment, political comprehension, and political execution. With high morale, we will energetically embark on the new journey outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan and greet the centenary of the founding of the Party with outstanding achievements.
The notice requires that organizational guidance for Party history study and education be strengthened in a practical and effective manner. The Group Party Committee will establish a leading group and working bodies for Party history study and education, intensify supervision over all branch committees and subsidiaries, adopt appropriate approaches and methods, clearly define the key priorities for each stage of learning, meticulously organize thematic study sessions, and leverage integrated media and various learning platforms to carry out a wide range of “Study Party History, Strengthen Belief, Follow the Party” themed activities. In light of the Group’s actual development needs, proactive publicity and interpretation of the profound significance of Party history study and education should be conducted to ensure that the thinking of Party members and cadres is fully aligned with the spirit of the CPC Central Committee. Efforts should also be made to summarize and promote exemplary practices, tell compelling stories about Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s reform and development, and ensure that the work requirements—“study history to gain insight, strengthen faith through study, cultivate virtue by studying history, and put what we learn into practice; study Party history, gain ideological understanding, deliver tangible results, and open up new prospects”—are thoroughly internalized, deeply understood, and effectively implemented, thereby pooling strong momentum for the enterprise’s high-quality development.
