On December 12, the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released the second batch of the 2018 list of provincial industrial enterprise R&D institutions, under which the R&D Center of Hebei Guolong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of our company, was recognized as a Class B provincial industrial enterprise R&D institution.

Guolong Pharmaceutical is a pharmaceutical company primarily engaged in the production of specialty active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates. In recent years, in alignment with the Group’s development strategy and in accordance with the criteria for the recognition and management of R&D institutions within industrial enterprises—namely, having qualified personnel, dedicated facilities, adequate equipment, sufficient funding, and ongoing projects—Guolong Pharmaceutical has continuously increased its investment in research and development and technological innovation. As a result, its innovative capacity and level have improved markedly, yielding numerous groundbreaking achievements.
According to available information, the recognition of R&D institutions of industrial enterprises in Hebei Province is conducted in accordance with the Measures for the Administration of the Recognition of R&D Institutions of Industrial Enterprises in Hebei Province. The process involves voluntary applications by enterprises and review and approval by the competent authorities, and is divided into two types—self-established and jointly established—with three levels: A, B, and C. The Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announces the recognized enterprise R&D institutions in batches and issues the “Hebei Provincial Certificate for R&D Institutions of Industrial Enterprises” on a unified basis.
