Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance released the 2018 List of National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprises, designating 68 companies as such. Our company was among those recognized, making it the only enterprise in Shijiazhuang City to receive this honor this year.

Our company was among those recognized, making it the only enterprise in Shijiazhuang City to receive this honor this year.
National Model Enterprises for Technological Innovation primarily refer to enterprises in key industrial sectors that demonstrate strong technological innovation capabilities, achieve remarkable innovation performance, and serve as important models and guides. Selected enterprises must possess core competitive advantages and a leading position; master the core technologies driving their development and hold independent intellectual property rights; allocate at least 3% of their annual sales revenue to R&D; and play a catalytic role in advancing the industry. It is understood that these enterprises are subject to dynamic management, with reassessments conducted every three years. Those that meet the criteria will have their designation reaffirmed, while those that fail to do so will have their title revoked.
In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has focused on the overarching theme of transformation, upgrading, and innovative development, using the restructuring of its core product line—large-volume parenterals—as a strategic entry point. The company has steadily increased its investment in technological innovation, accelerated the building of its capabilities in technological R&D and new-product development, and gradually established a relatively comprehensive, scientific, and well-defined system and working mechanism for technological innovation. To date, it has set up high-level innovation platforms such as a postdoctoral research station, an academician workstation, a Nobel Prize–expert workstation, the National–Local Joint Laboratory for Quality Control of Chemical Injection Preparations, and the National Enterprise Technology Center. In addition, the company has jointly established pharmaceutical research centers with renowned institutions including Tianjin University, Zhejiang University, and Zhengzhou University. These high-level innovation platforms have effectively attracted top-tier talent and unlocked their innovative potential. In 2017, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical’s “Experience in Implementing Comprehensive Quality Management to Control Insoluble Particulates in Injectable Preparations” was recognized as a provincial benchmark for quality among industrial enterprises. This year, its project “Establishment and Application of a Quality-Control Technical System for Soft-Packaged Large-Volume Parenterals” won the First Prize for Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress. Meanwhile, the number of newly approved and filed patents and new products has grown explosively, with the company now ranking among the leaders in the industry in terms of patent holdings. A series of new products—including moxifloxacin hydrochloride sodium chloride injection and sodium acetate Ringer’s injection—have been successively launched and are gradually being commercialized. Technological innovation is driving the company’s virtuous cycle of development, continuously enhancing its economic performance. As a result, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical’s leading position in the domestic large-volume parenteral market and its role as an innovation model are becoming increasingly prominent, thereby strongly promoting the company’s innovative, green, and high-quality development.
