On September 20, Chairman Qu Jiguang conducted an on-site inspection of the construction progress at the Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Project site in the Lingang Development Zone of the Cangzhou Bohai New Area, emphasizing the need to ensure construction quality, accelerate project schedule, and guarantee that all milestone tasks are completed on time, to the required standards, and with assured quality.

During the National Day holiday, Chairman Qu Jiguang conducted successive on-site inspections of the Guangxiang Project. At each construction site he visited, he meticulously inquired about the progress and quality of the works. Following briefings on the project’s construction status and a thorough on-site inspection of the work in progress, Chairman Qu immediately convened a field meeting to advance project implementation. He began by extending warm greetings to all members of the project team, fully commended the achievements made thus far, and urged continued efforts to accelerate the completion of all infrastructure components, while maintaining high standards and efficiency in driving the project forward.

Chairman Qu Jiguang emphasized the need to maintain constant vigilance over workplace safety, fully assume responsibility, and adhere strictly to construction procedures and contractual requirements—ensuring that work is carried out in a scientific, standardized, and safe manner. Any identified hazards must be promptly rectified, and while guaranteeing project quality, the construction schedule should be reverse-engineered to make the most of the favorable weather conditions in the near term, thereby accelerating progress and ensuring timely completion with both quality and quantity assured. Taking the project as a platform, we must strive for innovation and breakthroughs in key areas such as quality risk management, ecological protection, and energy conservation and safety, leveraging advanced technologies and processes to lead industry development, expedite the industrialization of innovative achievements, and establish a strategic development model featuring “integrated core with dual wings” comprising active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms. Through these efforts, we will continuously build competitive advantages, endeavor to make this project a model demonstration and high-quality exemplar of green pharmaceutical manufacturing, and contribute to the development of the Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Bohai New Area, and the city of Cangzhou!
