According to a report from China Business News in Hebei, the Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission has announced that, in accordance with the work arrangements of the provincial Party Committee and provincial government and under the joint guidance of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, the Hebei High-Tech Industry Association recently released the 2021 Ranking of the Top 100 Innovative Enterprises in Hebei’s Strategic Emerging Industries. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ranked 31st on the list.
The 2021 Top 100 Innovative Enterprises in Hebei Province’s Strategic Emerging Industries are leading and backbone enterprises in the province’s strategic emerging sectors, serving as the core force for tackling key technological challenges and achieving breakthroughs in critical industry technologies. They play a vital supporting role in building a modern industrial system across the province and in realizing high-quality economic development. In terms of geographical distribution, these enterprises are spread across all 11 prefecture-level cities and Dingzhou City in the province, with the top three being Shijiazhuang (19 firms), Baoding (17 firms), and Tangshan (16 firms). From a sectoral perspective, they cover key areas of strategic emerging industries such as next-generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals and health, new materials, new energy and smart grid equipment, new-energy vehicles, and energy conservation and environmental protection. Among them, the largest numbers are in the new-energy vehicle sector (23 firms), the new-energy sector (18 firms), and the biopharmaceuticals and health sector (17 firms). As for innovation performance, the Top 100 enterprises were granted a total of 3,500 patents in 2020, averaging 35 patents per enterprise; of these, 650 were invention patents, averaging 6.5 per enterprise.
In recent years, our province has annually organized the release of a list of the Top 100 Innovative Enterprises in Strategic Emerging Industries, thereby guiding the allocation of more high-quality resources across society toward leading enterprises and concentrating more innovation factors on key backbone firms. This initiative has supported these enterprises in accelerating their development and growing stronger and larger, yielding positive overall results, generating strong public response, and fully stimulating the vitality, innovative drive, and development potential of various market entities.
