On November 19, Li Keliang, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Shijiazhuang, visited the Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone to conduct on-site inspections and oversight of key enterprise projects, work safety, fire safety, and other related initiatives, as well as to review and supervise the implementation of various assigned responsibility systems.
During the field investigation, Li Keliang and his delegation visited the production workshops of Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Group, conducted on-site inspections of work related to workplace safety and fire safety, carefully listened to briefings on these initiatives, and held in-depth discussions with Qu Jiguang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Group, to gain a thorough understanding of the company’s current operations and development. They also sought detailed information on the current status and strengths of the enterprise receiving paired assistance, as well as the challenges and problems it faces in its development.
Li Keliang pointed out that in pursuing economic development, it is imperative to firmly uphold the principle of “safe production,” intensify inspections and rectification efforts in key areas of workplace safety, and place particular emphasis on the comprehensive implementation of fire safety measures to ensure that no major workplace safety incidents occur. At the same time, for the difficulties and problems encountered by enterprises, precise and effective solutions must be formulated, coordination and collaboration must be strengthened, the implementation of these measures must be closely supervised, and the realization of all project objectives must be advanced.
Li Keliang emphasized that, in economic development, we must take proactive measures, make all-out efforts to ensure stable economic performance, accelerate project construction, vigorously promote project development, and effectively assist private enterprises in overcoming difficulties, enhancing quality and efficiency. We should ensure the effective implementation of all business-friendly policies at the provincial and municipal levels, bridge the “last mile” in policy delivery, enhance enterprises’ sense of gain, and further stimulate the innovative vitality of the private sector and the creative dynamism of enterprises. Focusing on enterprise R&D, we will encourage enterprises to achieve new breakthroughs in areas such as innovative technology platforms, industry–university–research collaboration, and the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, thereby providing strong support for the high-quality development of the provincial capital.
