During the Xiaohan solar term, Xingtang County, located in the northern part of the provincial capital, is gripped by biting cold winds and an intense chill. On the morning of January 9, Su Xuejun, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and General Manager of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., together with Party Secretary Shi Jianhui, led a delegation brimming with heartfelt care from all employees to Goubai Village in Zhaiying Township, Xingtang County—the designated poverty-alleviation assistance site—to carry out support activities. The visit was warmly welcomed by local villagers and the resident work team of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology.

On the morning of January 9, Su Xuejun, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and General Manager of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., together with Party Secretary Shi Jianhui, led a delegation of company employees—brimming with heartfelt care—to Goubai Village in Zhaiying Township, Xingtang County, their designated poverty-alleviation assistance site, to carry out support activities. The visit was warmly welcomed by local villagers and the village-stationed work team of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology.
Goubei Village is located in the western part of Xingtang County and has relatively infertile land. The village comprises 659 households with a population of over 2,200, and its collective income primarily depends on crop cultivation and animal husbandry. In recent years, with the support of the resident work team and relevant enterprises, Goubei Village has made full use of policy-driven funding and corporate assistance to improve the village’s appearance while actively developing high-standard, greenhouse-based facilities for growing melons, premium vegetables, and other fruit and vegetable crops, resulting in a significant increase in the village’s collective economic revenue.
At the start of the new year, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. learned through its “hotline” with the village-stationed work team that, in order to seize the peak season for spring agricultural product sales, the village was planning to upgrade its heated greenhouses, purchase fertilizers and other agricultural inputs, and enhance soil fertility. However, a funding shortfall had arisen, leaving the project temporarily stalled. “Agricultural time waits for no one; it is our solemn duty to support poverty alleviation,” said Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical, immediately pledging financial assistance to help the village address its urgent needs. Early on January 9, Su Xuejun and his delegation drove to Goubei Village and handed over RMB 30,000 in aid directly to the village party secretary.
Su Xuejun and Shi Jianhui held a symposium with the village Party and government leadership team and the resident work team, thoroughly examining the challenges facing the development of the village’s collective economy. They also visited the village health clinic to gain a detailed understanding of villagers’ access to medical services and medication. Su Xuejun stated that Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical is committed to providing support and assistance to help graduates from secondary and higher vocational schools in Goubai Village secure employment and to ensure the safe use of medications by villagers.
Since last year, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical, recognized as one of the province’s top 100 private enterprises, has proactively assumed and fulfilled its social responsibilities by standing in solidarity with those in need, implementing targeted poverty alleviation efforts, and donating more than RMB 100,000 in cash and materials to support rural poverty eradication initiatives in villages such as Dongbaimaying Village in Yangyuan County, Zhangjiakou.
