On November 21, Li Huafeng, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Cangzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Bohai New Area, conducted a research visit to Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group to carry out the “Ten Questions, Seven Searches, and One Public Presentation” initiative.
At Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, Li Huafeng conducted a detailed inquiry with enterprise leaders—including Wu Hengyao, President of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, and Cui Yongbin, Chairman of Guangxiang Pharmaceutical—on such matters as product output, operational performance, market conditions, industry standing, technological advantages, development plans, whether the company is slated for inclusion in the statistical register of large enterprises, industrial supporting facilities, import–export activities, and pressing issues that need to be addressed. He made arrangements and deployments centered on identifying problems and needs, pinpointing enterprises eligible for upgrade to the large-enterprise register, locating import–export firms, discovering “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” enterprises, uncovering bottleneck technologies, seeking projects for technological upgrading, and finding companies poised for IPO, while also briefing them on relevant provincial and municipal support policies. Li Huafeng commended Guangxiang Pharmaceutical for the remarkable results it has achieved in promoting clean and environmentally friendly production and in developing both domestic and international markets.
Li Huafeng emphasized that all levels of government, relevant departments, and the business community must thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, while accelerating the launch of new projects and making every effort to ensure workplace safety and environmental protection. It is imperative to rigorously enforce information-based monitoring and management, conduct comprehensive self-inspections, and promptly rectify any problems identified. Furthermore, we must strengthen our environmental protection capabilities, expand the ranks of our environmental protection teams, earnestly heed expert advice, proactively benchmark against best practices, and strive to contribute to the environmental safety and quality of the Winter Olympics as well as to the high-quality, leapfrog development of the Bohai New Area.
