“This comprehensive package of talent-development initiatives sends a powerful signal of the city’s commitment to recognizing, valuing, respecting, and effectively utilizing talent,” said Su Xuejun, Chairman of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group. He noted that the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have adopted a forward-looking vision by placing talent development at the very heart of industrial growth. Taking this as an opportunity, the group will leverage its unique strengths to proactively attract and cultivate high-caliber, outstanding professionals, thereby further fostering innovative, high-quality development and accelerating its transformation, upgrading, and leapfrog advancement.

In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has focused on innovation and internationalization, targeting the cutting edge of first-generic and innovative drug research and development, and comprehensively advancing its product pipelines and technological capabilities in areas such as first generics, innovative drugs, and complex formulations. As the company’s industrial chain continues to expand, the need for and development of top talent are critical to optimizing its product portfolio and driving sustained growth and upgrading.

According to Su Xuejun, since last year, while various types of talent in the enterprise have been benefiting from a range of government preferential policies, the company has also facilitated the purchase of commercial housing for top-performing on-the-job professionals and leaders of research projects, and provided them with free transportation services. These practical and thoughtful measures have earned unanimous praise from all categories of talent.

These “unprecedented” incentive measures have attracted a greater influx of high-caliber talent to Sihua Pharmaceutical. Recently, the company has signed contracts with eight doctoral graduates from top domestic institutions such as Tsinghua University, Fudan University, and Ocean University of China, and has entered into employment agreements with more than 20 master’s students from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Nankai University, and Beijing University of Science and Technology. In addition, over 50 recent undergraduate graduates from China Pharmaceutical University, China University of Mining and Technology, and other institutions will also be joining Sihua Pharmaceutical, resulting in talent recruitment outcomes that are truly “unprecedented” and marking the initial emergence of a talent “flock effect.”

“Good policies and a favorable business environment have created an ideal “nest-building” setting that attracts top talent, thereby powerfully propelling enterprises onto the ‘highway’ of innovation-driven development,” said Su Xuejun. Currently, Sihua Pharmaceutical has as many as 200 new products in development, with talent serving as the driving force behind a steady stream of new momentum for the company’s growth.

“The Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government have introduced a series of new talent policies to support industrial development, further strengthening our confidence and resolve to accelerate development and catch up with the leading players,” said Su Xuejun. He added that, moving forward, the organization will set even higher standards for itself, take proactive measures, and fully mobilize and leverage the talents of outstanding professionals. By delivering innovative, value-creating results, they will strive to make new contributions toward achieving a city-wide economic output exceeding RMB 1 trillion and securing a pioneering breakthrough in the biopharmaceutical industry.
