【SUMMARY】 On May 26, Bai Runzhang, Executive Deputy Director of the Hebei Provincial Committee for Caring for the Next Generation, and Yun Changqing, First-Level Researcher at the Office of the Provincial Committee, accompanied by Wang Huaqing, Director of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee for Caring for the Next Generation, and Yuan Yanguang, Executive Deputy Director of the Municipal Committee, conducted a research visit to Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group to provide guidance on work related to caring for the next generation.

On May 26, Bai Runzhang, Executive Deputy Director of the Hebei Provincial Committee for Caring for the Next Generation, and Yun Changqing, First-Level Researcher at the Office of the Provincial Committee, together with Wang Huaqing, Director of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee for Caring for the Next Generation, and Yuan Yanguang, Executive Deputy Director of the Municipal Committee, conducted a research visit to Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group to provide guidance on work related to caring for the next generation. The delegation was accompanied by Qu Jiguang, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors; Shi Jianhui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Group’s Committee for Caring for the Next Generation; and Song Mingxia, Chairperson of the Trade Union and Executive Deputy Director of the Group’s Committee for Caring for the Next Generation.

Bai Runzhang and his delegation conducted on-site inspections of the R&D centers of Shisiyao Group and the R&D Studio of the Committee for Caring for the Next Generation, carefully listening to briefings on the companies’ R&D innovation efforts and business development. Bai Runzhang highly commended the remarkable achievements attained under the leadership of Qu Jiguang, the group’s chief executive, who has rallied the workforce to persevere through hard work and leverage innovation-driven strategies to assume a leading role in the industry.

During the symposium, Shi Jianhui briefed the provincial Caring Committee for the Next Generation research team on the enterprise’s valuable experiences and practices in carrying out Caring Committee work centered on “caring for the growth and development of young workers and serving the healthy development of the enterprise.” In recent years, in light of the increasingly youthful age profile of its workforce, the Group’s Caring Committee for the Next Generation has adhered to the working principle of “responding promptly to the enterprise’s urgent needs, addressing the specific requirements of young workers, and doing everything within the Committee’s capacity.” It has thoroughly explored new approaches, methods, and channels for conducting ideological and political work among young employees under the new circumstances, leveraging the synergy between Party building and Caring Committee work, harnessing the role of the “Five Elders,” innovating work platforms and mechanisms, and providing targeted support to nurture the growth and development of young employees while serving the overall interests of the enterprise.

Bai Runzhang pointed out that Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group attaches great importance to work related to the next generation, places a strong emphasis on excavating the enterprise’s red cultural heritage and highlighting the inheritance of its red gene. In particular, the company has fully leveraged the role of the “Five Elders” in building an innovative talent pool, seamlessly integrating the cultivation of core values and moral character with the development of high-caliber professional personnel, thereby forging a distinctive approach to this work. He warmly encouraged the enterprise to “generate more experience and explore more innovative pathways” in its efforts to care for the next generation, further harnessing the unique role and advantages of the Committee for Caring for the Next Generation to continuously open up new frontiers in this field.

Bai Runzhang emphasized that caring for and educating the next generation is a strategic undertaking that bears on the future of the Party and the country and ensures a steady stream of successors; it is a cause of paramount importance for the thriving development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation; it is a people-centered project that directly affects the vital interests of hundreds of millions of families; and it is the foundational work for building socialist spiritual civilization. Doing a good job in the work of the Concern Committees for the Next Generation carries profound significance and is an unparalleled honor. All levels of the Concern Committees must strengthen their “four consciousnesses,” firmly uphold their “four confidences,” and resolutely safeguard the “two establishments.” They must continuously enhance their sense of responsibility and mission in this important work, steadfastly serve the overall interests of the Party and the state, proactively coordinate and take initiative, accurately identify the points of convergence and priority areas for their efforts, and strive to deliver high-quality results, develop distinctive features, and achieve tangible outcomes, thereby lending support and contributing to the central tasks of the Party and the state.
