On the morning of March 23, the company’s Fourth Session of the Ninth Workers’ Congress and the Ceremony for Commending Outstanding Employees were solemnly held here. Company leaders Qu Jiguang, Su Xuejun, Zhang Qingjiang, Wu Hengyao, Han Shuqin, Li Weimin, Shi Jianhui, and Song Mingxia took their seats on the rostrum, while nearly 200 employee representatives from various workshops and departments, along with outstanding workers and production personnel, gathered to discuss the company’s future development. The meeting was chaired by Song Mingxia, Chairperson of the Trade Union.

Company leaders Qu Jiguang, Su Xuejun, Zhang Qingjiang, Wu Hengyao, Han Shuqin, Li Weimin, Shi Jianhui, and Song Mingxia took their seats on the rostrum, while nearly 200 employee representatives from various workshops and departments, along with outstanding workers and production personnel, gathered to discuss the company’s major development plans. The meeting was chaired by Song Mingxia, Chairperson of the Trade Union.
The conference solemnly commended the company’s outstanding collectives and individuals for 2018. General Manager Su Xuejun first read out the decision on the commendation. To the accompaniment of cheerful music and enthusiastic applause, representatives of the outstanding collectives and individuals took to the stage one after another to receive certificates and medals—symbols of honor and achievement—from the company’s leaders. Liu Xiaojuan, representing the Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and recognized as an Outstanding Producer (Worker) for 2018, issued a call to all employees: “Let us always maintain a positive spirit and unwavering enthusiasm at work, and dedicate our youth and passion to the company.”

The meeting called on all employees to take the recognized model collectives and individuals as role models, closely focus on the 2019 goals and tasks that have been set, adopt a proactive and enterprising spirit, uphold a pragmatic and truth-seeking work style, demonstrate dedication and professionalism, strive for continuous improvement, and deliver solid, results-oriented performance, thereby making even greater contributions to the company’s pursuit of excellence and its journey to become a world-class pharmaceutical enterprise.
At the subsequent Trade Union Congress, amid a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere, Qu Jiguang, Chairman of the Company, on behalf of the Board of Directors and the company’s leadership team, delivered a work report titled “Stay True to Our Original Aspiration, Pursue Innovation and Progress, and Strive to Usher in a New Chapter of High-Quality Enterprise Development.” The report provided a systematic review of the company’s performance in 2018, conducted a scientific assessment of the current situation, and set clear objectives for 2019. It also outlined the key priorities for 2019: aligning with new developments in industrial policies to achieve breakthroughs in the adjustment of production and sales structures; accelerating the building of an innovation-driven enterprise to promote transformation, upgrading, and leapfrog development; strengthening quality and safety management to ensure the company’s healthy and stable growth; speeding up the construction of key projects to continuously foster new drivers of growth; and cultivating and forging an outstanding corporate culture to unite hearts and minds and create synergies that propel development.
The conference also heard a report titled “Explanation on the 2019 Economic Responsibility System and Adjustments to Employee Compensation” delivered by Wang Chunfa, Deputy General Manager of the company.
During the breakout sessions, the attending leaders and employee representatives were divided into seven groups to engage in in-depth and detailed discussions centered on the two reports. Participants unanimously agreed that the work report objectively and candidly summarized past achievements, conducted a scientific and thorough analysis of the current situation, and outlined practical and comprehensive plans for future work—characterized by a high-level perspective, broad vision, precise positioning, and concrete measures—thus providing crucial guidance for effectively carrying out the 2019 work agenda. With regard to the company’s production and operations in 2019 as well as employees’ interests, the delegates offered numerous constructive suggestions and recommendations. In response, Chairman Qu Jiguang addressed each of the proposals and suggestions put forward by the employee representatives concerning corporate development and employees’ livelihoods.
