Safety First, Tough Competition: Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s Safety Production Knowledge Contest Kicks Off in Full Swing

Following a preliminary written round, nine teams comprising 27 employees were selected to compete with full enthusiasm for the ultimate championship.

The host fired off question after question, and the participating employees scrambled to answer, vying for the lead as the score ebbed and flowed. Applause erupted again and again as a heated safety knowledge competition—testing both depth of understanding and speed of response—was underway in the multi-purpose auditorium of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s Shijiazhuang Economic Development Zone.

Following a preliminary written qualifying round, nine teams comprising a total of 27 employees were selected to compete with full enthusiasm for the ultimate championship.
According to reports, the questions in this workplace safety knowledge competition cover the Work Safety Law, the Law on Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases, and enterprise safety management regulations, among other topics, ensuring rich content and broad coverage. The competition comprises several rounds, including mandatory questions, quick-response questions, and risk-based questions, as well as a spectator participation round, thereby reinforcing fundamental safety knowledge from multiple angles and enhancing participants’ ability to apply such knowledge in practical settings.
At the competition venue, employees representing their respective teams were full of energy, displaying a determined fighting spirit, a relentless drive to take the lead, and an unwavering resolve to win. Throughout the event, they remained calm and composed while working closely together; the buzzers rang out one after another, creating an exceptionally tense and intense atmosphere—a thrilling “battle for supremacy.” During the audience Q&A session, employees in the audience eagerly vied to answer, showcasing both a positive attitude and a strong grasp of safety knowledge. The entire competition was marked by a vibrant, high-energy atmosphere, with one exciting climax following another, and the audience frequently erupting in enthusiastic applause.
After fierce competition, the team from the Storage and Transportation Department emerged as the winner, while the teams from the Property Management Department and Workshop 208 were awarded second prize, and the teams from Workshops 105, 103, and 203 received third prize. Following the event, employees unanimously expressed that the competition was both intense and exhilarating, enhancing their sense of teamwork while reinforcing their theoretical knowledge of safety. Moving forward, they pledged to continuously strengthen their awareness of red-line safety boundaries, improve their safety literacy, and further elevate the Group’s work on safe production to a new level.
It is reported that since the launch of “Safety Production Month,” the Group has continuously strengthened safety awareness across all employees by organizing a series of initiatives, including a safety initiative and commitment campaign led by the principal person in charge, a safety knowledge competition, specialized training on emergency response, targeted emergency preparedness drills, skill competitions for specialized workers, a themed essay contest on safety production, and a “Snap It” campaign to report safety hazards. Through these comprehensive measures, the Group has built a robust “safety barrier.”
