On July 12, the Class 3 chemical drug oseltamivir phosphate dry suspension (0.36 g, calculated on the basis of C16H28N2O4), developed and submitted for approval by Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, received drug production registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration and is deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation. This marks the 37th new product that Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group has obtained so far this year.

According to reports, oseltamivir phosphate dry suspension is primarily indicated for the treatment of influenza A and B in patients aged 2 weeks and older, as well as for the prevention of influenza A and B in individuals aged 1 year and older.
In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group has increasingly demonstrated its innovative strengths, with its R&D efficiency and output in specialty generic drugs ranking among the top among pharmaceutical companies nationwide. To date, the group has had a total of 53 drug varieties comprising 70 dosage forms either approved or deemed to have passed the National Evaluation of Quality and Therapeutic Equivalence for Generic Drugs, thereby effectively supporting the continuous optimization and upgrading of the group’s product portfolio and tiered structure.
