As the year draws to a close, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group has once again announced encouraging news in its new-product development: the active pharmaceutical ingredient of vortioxetine hydrobromide, which the company had submitted for approval, has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration and registered as an API for use in marketed dosage forms.
As the year draws to a close, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group has once again announced good news in its new-product development: the active pharmaceutical ingredient of vortioxetine hydrobromide, which was submitted for approval, has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration and registered as an API for use in marketed dosage forms.
According to reports, vortioxetine hydrobromide is a serotonin (5-HT) reuptake inhibitor that also acts as an agonist, partial agonist, or antagonist at certain types of 5-HT receptors, and is primarily used for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults.
In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group has proactively established an integrated “API–formulation” development model, with API R&D, manufacturing, and sales demonstrating strong growth momentum and providing robust support for the company’s high-quality development.
