Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the first batch of 2023 exemplary products, applications, and service cases in next-generation information technology. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical’s “Innovative Application of the Intelligent Pharmaceutical Operations Collaborative Dispatch Platform” was selected as an innovative leading application case on industrial internet platforms under the category of networked collaboration. This achievement marks a new step and significant progress in the company’s digital transformation and development.
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the first batch of 2023 Typical Products, Applications, and Service Cases in Next-Generation Information Technology. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical’s “Innovative Application of the Intelligent Pharmaceutical Operations Collaborative Dispatch Platform” was selected as an Innovative Leading Application Case for Industrial Internet Platforms under the Networked Collaboration category. This achievement marks a new step and significant progress in the company’s digital transformation and development.
According to reports, the 2023 selection of exemplary products, applications, and service cases in next-generation information technology is designed to implement the strategic plans of the Party Central Committee and the State Council for promoting the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, accelerate the coordinated development of next-generation information technology and manufacturing, and advance the adoption and dissemination of new products, new standards, and new business models. Centered on the theme of the integrated development of next-generation information technology and manufacturing, the selection process focuses on typical products, applications, and service models, identifying a number of outstanding case studies. It seeks to highlight and promote product cases that have gained broad industry recognition and are being effectively applied by enterprises, thereby providing a reference framework for more regions and enterprises to leverage next-generation information technology and drive high-quality development. Notably, the innovative flagship application cases for industrial internet platforms cover six major application modes: platform-based design, digital management, intelligent manufacturing, networked collaboration, personalized customization, and service-oriented extension.
The “Innovative Application of the Intelligent Pharmaceutical Operations Coordination and Scheduling Platform” case from Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical was developed in response to the practical needs of the company’s digital transformation. It builds a resource-optimization platform based on a knowledge base, modeling, optimization algorithms, and simulation, with a primary focus on modeling end-to-end business processes across the entire production–supply–sales value chain. Leveraging techniques such as mathematical programming, constraint programming, route optimization algorithms, and graph algorithms, the platform establishes an integrated production operations coordination and scheduling management system for optimizing production planning and enabling intelligent shop-floor scheduling, as well as an intelligent planning management system driven by finite-resource constraints and global-objective optimization. This has resulted in a closed-loop, end-to-end intelligent planning and scheduling platform and management system that seamlessly links market demand, production planning, and shop-floor scheduling. Since its implementation, this industrial Internet platform innovation project has significantly advanced enterprise management and smart manufacturing, propelling them to new heights.
In recent years, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has been driven by innovation, focusing on industrial transformation and upgrading while accelerating its digital transformation. In 2021, its “Pharmaceutical Quality Traceability Platform Based on the Industrial Internet” was selected as a pilot demonstration project for innovative development of the industrial internet in Hebei Province; in 2022, its “Digital R&D and Design of Products” was recognized as an outstanding smart manufacturing scenario by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
