On January 28, the Hebei Provincial Pharmaceutical Society held its 2024 Work Conference and the Third Session of the Ninth Council in Shijiazhuang. During the conference, awards were presented to outstanding units and individuals in pharmaceutical information statistics for 2023, as well as to exemplary specialized committees and their outstanding members, along with the list of recipients of the Hebei Provincial Pharmaceutical Society’s second “Outstanding Pharmacist” award and the “Pharmacists Talk About Medicines” award for outstanding science communication short videos. Liu Qingping from Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group was honored with the title of “Outstanding Pharmacist” in the second edition of the Hebei Provincial Pharmaceutical Society’s awards.

As an outstanding representative of the Group’s quality management efforts, Liu Qingping has, since joining the workforce, steadfastly upheld the quality policy of “drug quality first, public health paramount,” held herself to rigorous standards, conscientiously implemented the Code of Professional Ethics for Practicing Pharmacists, and rigorously safeguarded the bottom line of drug quality. Grounded in her role, she has remained true to her original aspiration and mission, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to ensuring the safety of medicines used by the public. Through her exemplary conduct, she has served as a practitioner, advocate, and promoter of drug quality and safety. In 2023, she was honored with the title of “Quality Pioneer in China’s Pharmaceutical Industry,” and the experience she helped develop—“the ‘21235’ risk-control model based on parameter-based release, ensuring drug quality and safety”—was recognized as a national quality benchmark.

According to reports, in order to recognize outstanding pharmacists who have made significant contributions, further strengthen their professional commitment, enhance the public’s positive perception of the pharmacy profession, and motivate them to faithfully fulfill their mission and responsibilities, the Hebei Provincial Drug Administration and the Hebei Pharmaceutical Association jointly organized the second Hebei “Outstanding Pharmacist” Awards and the “Pharmacists Talk About Medicines” Outstanding Science Communication Short Video Competition. Following extensive solicitation and rigorous multi-level screening, a total of five “Outstanding Pharmacists” and ten “Pharmacists Talk About Medicines” outstanding science communication short videos were selected as finalists.
