According to available information, sodium bicarbonate Ringer’s injection is a compound formulation composed of multiple electrolytes, including sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium ions. It is indicated for replenishing and correcting extracellular fluid volume in cases of reduced circulating blood volume and interstitial fluid depletion, as well as for correcting metabolic acidosis. According to data from MeneNet, in recent years the market for sodium bicarbonate Ringer’s injection at the end-user level in China’s public medical institutions has expanded rapidly, with sales exceeding RMB 400 million in 2021.
