【SUMMARY】 Recently, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Ministry of Emergency Management jointly issued a notice recognizing 486 organizations as National Model Posts for Youth Safety in Production for 2023 and launching the initiative to establish such posts for 2024. The packaging position in the Solid Dosage Workshop No. 207 at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical was awarded the title of National Model Post for Youth Safety in Production for 2023.

Since the launch of the 2023 National Youth Model Posts for Work Safety initiative, youth league organizations across regions and sectors, in close collaboration with emergency management authorities, have extensively mobilized grassroots youth teams. They have thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on work safety, focusing on such key areas as safety awareness education, enhancement of safety skills, development of safety-oriented work teams, and oversight of safety management. In conjunction with activities such as “Work Safety Month” and “Fire Safety Publicity Month,” they have actively organized a series of targeted, youth-focused work-safety initiatives, including publicity and education campaigns, themed youth league days, knowledge training sessions, on-the-job skill drills, hazard identification and rectification, emergency response drills, and innovation-driven problem-solving efforts. These initiatives have effectively guided young workers in strengthening their safety consciousness, diligently honing their safety skills, standardizing production operations, and actively participating in management and oversight, thereby contributing youthful energy to high-quality development through robust safety guarantees.

Since the launch of the “Youth Model Post for Work Safety” initiative at the packaging station of the 207 Solid Dosage Workshop at Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical, the workshop has, in accordance with the requirements and standards of the initiative and in light of the specific realities of the production posts, conducted benchmarking and alignment against established criteria. Through concrete and effective measures—such as strengthening management, improving institutional mechanisms, and expanding the scope of activities—and by leveraging key events like “Work Safety Month,” “Fire Safety Publicity Month,” and “Thematic Youth League Days”—the workshop has continuously enhanced all employees’ awareness of work safety responsibilities and their operational skills, thereby effectively deepening and solidifying work safety efforts. As a result, the Youth Model Post for Work Safety initiative has been brought onto a track of institutionalization, routine implementation, standardization, and scientific management.

According to reports, the National Youth Model Posts for Work Safety is a mass-based practical initiative jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Ministry of Emergency Management, aimed at ensuring workplace safety. Since its launch in 2001, more than 4,100 national-level Youth Model Posts for Work Safety have been recognized, making it a long-term platform and well-known brand through which the CYL leads young people in participating in work-safety efforts.

The head of the Youth League Committee of Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. stated that the designation as a National Model Post for Youth Safety Production should serve as a driving force to further promote the spirit of “Youth Take the Lead in Safety Production” among young employees, fully unleashing their role as a dynamic vanguard and task-force in safety production efforts, strengthening the youth foundation for safe production and sustainable development, and inspiring young workers to actively engage in safety production initiatives, thereby contributing to the creation of a sound and stable safety environment conducive to the building of Chinese modernization.
