June 2024 marks the nation’s 23rd Safety Production Month, with the theme “Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—Ensuring Unobstructed Lifelines.” To ensure the comprehensive implementation of this year’s Safety Production Month activities, further strengthen the foundation of workplace safety at the enterprise, and enhance the safety risk-prevention capabilities of all employees, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group recently launched its 2024 Safety Production Month campaign.
June 2024 marks the nation’s 23rd Safety Production Month, with the theme “Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—Ensuring Unimpeded Lifelines.” To ensure the comprehensive implementation of this year’s Safety Production Month activities, further strengthen the foundation of workplace safety at the enterprise, and enhance the safety risk-prevention capabilities of all employees, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group recently launched its 2024 Safety Production Month campaign.
Centered on this year’s “Work Safety Month” theme, the Group has conducted thorough inspections and remediation of key risk areas—such as the unauthorized occupation, obstruction, or closure of evacuation routes and emergency exits—at production and business premises, with a particular focus on ensuring unobstructed “lifelines” and organizing a series of related activities.
It is reported that the Group’s “Work Safety Month” campaign will be carried out over a six-week period, divided into phases including publicity and mobilization, safety education, hazard identification and remediation, safety culture promotion, and inspection and acceptance. The campaign adheres to the guiding principle of “safety first, prevention-oriented, and comprehensive management,” upholds the principle of “people-centered approach with both symptomatic and root-cause solutions,” and focuses on deepening the full-staff work safety responsibility system and strengthening team-level safety management. A variety of activities will be organized, such as publicity, training, and education; safety knowledge competitions; safety management lectures; fire-fighting drills; and skill contests for specialized workers. While expanding the reach and impact of the “Keep Lifelines Clear” campaign, the initiative will also conduct in-depth hazard identification and remediation as well as risk-based tiered control, ensuring that all employees firmly embrace the “safety first” mindset and further enhance their capabilities in the four key areas.
The group’s principal stated that we must always maintain a keen awareness that “safe production is an ongoing endeavor that brooks no complacency,” and actively align our efforts with this year’s campaign theme. We must keep our focus firmly on the grassroots level, ensuring that accountability measures are effectively implemented at specific sites, at specific posts, and for specific personnel; rigorously enforce all relevant rules and regulations; intensify publicity and outreach on safety knowledge and skills; and guide all employees in continuously enhancing their safety awareness, competence, and capabilities, thereby comprehensively strengthening the foundation of safe production at the grassroots level. At the same time, we must deeply learn from recent accidents of various types, conduct thorough inspections to identify and address issues such as confined and restricted spaces and inadequate emergency exits, rectify each problem one by one without leaving any blind spots, and persistently reinforce the safety production defense line. In doing so, we will lay a solid safety foundation for achieving the “more than half” targets for both the first half and the full year, and leverage high-level safety production management to drive the group’s pursuit of high-quality development.
