The sweltering summer heat has been relentlessly “baking” outdoor workers on the front lines for days, capturing the heartfelt concern of their union—“the family they can always count on.”
The scorching summer heat has been putting every outdoor worker on the front lines to a relentless test, while also deeply concerning the trade union—their “family.”
To effectively implement heat-prevention and cooling measures and ensure safe production during the summer, on June 13, Shi Jianhui, Party Secretary and Executive President of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, together with Huang Xiaofeng, Chairman of the Trade Union, led union and Party-and-Youth-League staff to visit frontline work sites in warehousing and logistics, security, and other departments, delivering refreshing summer “cooling gifts” to employees working outdoors.
A touch of coolness, a gesture of care. At the loading and unloading area of the Group’s High-tech Zone Automated Warehousing Center, logistics vehicles are neatly lined up, while forklifts shuttle back and forth in full swing, as storage and transportation staff work diligently despite the sweltering heat. Union representatives have delivered cooling refreshments—such as sour plum soup, mung bean soup, and Huoxiang Zhengqi Water—as well as sun hats and other summer-relief supplies directly to the workers, reminding them to take precautions against the heat, stay hydrated, look after their health, and safely get through the summer.
“The chilled mung bean soup is truly refreshing, and this straw hat provides excellent shade—it doesn’t obstruct our view while we’re working. We’re very grateful to the Group for thinking so carefully about the needs of frontline employees like us,” said the workers, adding that they would remain steadfast at their posts and perform their duties diligently and responsibly.

In recent years, in order to effectively ensure employees’ protection from the summer heat and provide relief from high temperatures while working outdoors, the Group and the Trade Union have intensified their care and concern, rigorously carried out “Summer Coolness Delivery” outreach activities, meticulously collected employee needs, carefully formulated targeted “Summer Coolness Delivery” plans, and precisely identified recipients of assistance. Through these efforts, they have brought much-needed coolness to frontline workers who brave the scorching sun and steadfastly hold the line at their posts, effectively serving as a “sunshade” of corporate care during the summer months. In doing so, they have promptly conveyed the Group’s thoughtful concern and the Trade Union’s warmth directly to the hearts of employees, cooling down the sweltering summer heat while warming the spirit of compassion.
