At the exhibition, the group’s specially designed booth—featuring a striking blue-and-white color scheme and a sophisticated, innovative layout—displayed neatly arranged, eye-catching signature products, drawing the attention of numerous business visitors.
From the very opening, both new and longstanding domestic and international customers flocked to the booth, engaging with the Group’s sales representatives to learn about the company and its product offerings. The scene was exceptionally bustling, with visitor numbers far exceeding expectations and attention extending well beyond the traditional industry circle. Wu Hengyao, President of the Group and head of the delegation at CPHI, stated that the event provided a comprehensive platform for showcasing the Group’s strengths and innovative achievements across its portfolio of bulk and specialty APIs, injectables and oral formulations, and pharmaceutical packaging materials.
Wu Hengyao stated, “Since the beginning of this year, the Group has intensified its participation in globally renowned industry trade shows. Through a ‘go global and invite in’ strategy, we have strengthened our ties with raw-material import-export clients, deepened our business partnerships, continuously expanded our network of collaborative relationships, and significantly accelerated our internationalization efforts.”
To gain a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of global market dynamics, proactively identify business opportunities, and take the initiative in expanding foreign trade operations and achieving annual targets, during the exhibition, staff from the Formulation Foreign Trade Center held discussions with buyers from Europe, Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and other regions. Meanwhile, staff from the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Foreign Trade Center reached preliminary cooperation agreements with international partners on the export of caffeine, azithromycin, theophylline, aminophylline, and other products, yielding positive results.
According to preliminary statistics, on the first day of the exhibition, the Group’s formulation and API export teams, along with business personnel from subsidiaries such as Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, Guolong Pharmaceutical, and Bosheng Medical Devices, collectively hosted more than 120 existing and new customers. International buyers expressed strong interest in the Group’s APIs, upright soft bags, aqueous injections, oral formulations, and other products, with many stating that they would visit the companies after the event to observe their digital and intelligent manufacturing operations.
According to reports, the China International Pharmaceutical Ingredients Exhibition is a specialized international trade show that brings together the entire pharmaceutical value chain—ranging from pharmaceutical raw materials and intermediates to biotechnology and pharmaceutical chemicals—and enjoys widespread attention within the industry. This year’s event spans over 210,000 square meters, with nearly 3,500 renowned domestic and international exhibitors showcasing their latest products, cutting-edge equipment, and pioneering technologies. The exhibition is expected to attract more than 90,000 professional buyers from both China and abroad.
