【SUMMARY】 In the blazing midsummer sun, construction is in full swing on the launch area of the Xiong’an New Area: the east–west public-transit network continues to expand laterally, and one building after another is rapidly rising at the Xiong’an Intercity Railway Station and the China World Trade Center district. Along the banks of Baiyangdian Lake, a modern new city is accelerating its rise, steadily moving toward its vision of becoming a model city that is “beyond description” and “deeply aspirational.” On June 22, more than 40 Party members and prospective Party members who took part in Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s themed Party Day event—“Visiting Xiong’an New Area to Draw Inspiration for Advancement”—experienced firsthand the profound impact of this “city of innovation” and “city of the future.”

Under the blazing midsummer sun, construction is in full swing in the Startup Area of the Xiong’an New Area: the east–west public-transit network continues to expand laterally, and one building after another is rapidly rising at the Xiong’an Intercity Railway Station and the China World Trade Center district. Along the banks of Baiyangdian Lake, a modern new city is accelerating its rise, steadily moving toward its vision of becoming a model city that is “beyond description” and “deeply aspirational.” On June 22, more than 40 Party members and prospective Party members who took part in Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s themed Party Day event—“Visiting the Xiong’an New Area to Draw Inspiration for Advancement”—experienced firsthand the profound impact of this “city of innovation” and “city of the future.”

To celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, thoroughly and comprehensively study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, and gain a profound understanding of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions on advancing coordinated development among Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei and accelerating the development of new-quality productive forces, the Group Party Committee organized a thematic Party Day activity for representatives of Party members and prospective Party members to visit the Xiong’an New Area on the eve of July 1.

During the event, Party members, guided by relevant officials from the Xiong’an New Area Reform and Development Bureau and other departments, visited key sites including the Xiong’an New Area Planning Exhibition Center, the Startup Area Comprehensive Service Center, the “Xiong’an Impressions” Exhibition Hall, and the Xiong’an Urban Computing (Supercomputing Cloud) Center. There, they personally experienced the allure of this new-era benchmark for high-quality development and witnessed firsthand the rapid progress being made in building a “city of the future” that has been meticulously planned to the highest standards.

The planning and development of the Xiong’an New Area is a grand vision personally decided, strategically deployed, and vigorously advanced by General Secretary Xi Jinping, representing a plan for the ages and a matter of national importance.

At the Xiong’an New Area Planning Exhibition Center, one compelling blueprint after another—featuring “high-level planning, high-standard construction, and high-quality development”—is presented in vivid three-dimensional form through photographs, videos, and sand-table models, capturing visitors’ attention and inspiring deep admiration. As they listen intently to the explanations, visitors are filled with boundless imagination and heartfelt aspirations for the transformative future of the new area.

The Xiong’an City Computing (Supercomputing Cloud) Center, as one of the “One Center and Four Platforms” that form the backbone of Xiong’an’s digital city development and a key platform for enterprise cloud services in the New Area, is aptly dubbed the “Eye of Xiong’an.” Here, Party members have keenly sensed the imminent emergence of a digitally driven “city of innovation”... As a pilot city for smart construction, the Xiong’an New Area aims to build a world-class, intelligent, and green city, promoting the parallel development of the digital and physical cities and actively creating a “Xiong’an Model.” Following the visit, Zhou Changtao, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Group Information Management Center, remarked with deep reflection: “We must draw on the experience gained from Xiong’an New Area’s digital transformation, engage in forward-looking planning, meticulous deployment, and coordinated advancement, and continuously accelerate the pace of our enterprises’ digital transformation.”

At the construction sites of the China Huaneng and Sinochem projects, as well as the East–West Axis and the Xiong’an Intercity Station area, a rich array of architectural forms and a host of innovative resources—including near-zero-carbon, energy-efficient, green building technologies and materials—are coming together, injecting new vitality into the effort to build Xiong’an New Area into a low-carbon, green, and sustainable urban model. “The development of ‘Green Xiong’an’ is inseparable from the integration of green building principles and the application of green building technologies—both of which represent key trends for future development and are well worth our study and emulation in project planning and construction,” said management and engineering personnel from the Group’s Engineering Management Center who attended the event, adding that they now have a more up-to-date and more tangible understanding of the development and application of new building technologies and materials.

Wherever we go, the new district is under vigorous construction and rapidly expanding, inspiring and exhilarating everyone with the visionary development philosophy and remarkable pace of this “truly extraordinary” and “deeply aspirational” “city of the future.”

“It truly is ‘seeing is believing’—experiencing firsthand the rapid and transformative changes in Xiong’an has deepened our understanding of the profound significance of the Xiong’an New Area’s development as a ‘millennial plan and a matter of national importance.’ We must draw strength from this experience to forge ahead with determination and steady progress, continuously accelerate development, and actively contribute to the high-quality growth of the biopharmaceutical industry at both the corporate and national levels,” party members shared their impressions of participating in this event.

On the vibrant land of the Xiong’an New Area—a place that carries forward the red heritage and the spirit of struggle—party members once again solemnly took their oath before the crimson Party flag: “I voluntarily join the Communist Party of China, uphold the Party’s program, abide by the Party Constitution, and fulfill my duties as a party member…” This resolute and powerful oath embodies the Communist Party members’ unwavering commitment to continuous struggle, expresses their boundless loyalty and love for the Party, and underscores their firm resolve to heed the Party’s words and follow its lead.

“Through Party Day activities, we must draw inspiration from the construction and development of the Xiong’an New Area to strengthen our spirit of striving, firmly uphold the ‘Four Confidences,’ resolutely safeguard the ‘Two Upholds,’ and translate the gains from these activities into a powerful driving force for advancing our work. We should devote ourselves to the Group’s high-quality construction and development with even greater enthusiasm and a more pragmatic approach, striving to achieve systematic planning, relentless pursuit of excellence, and successful outcomes in our respective duties. In this new era and on this new journey, we must demonstrate new achievements and assume new responsibilities,” emphasized Shi Jianhui, Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee, at the conclusion of the event.
