On June 18, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group obtained production registration approval for its Class 4 chemical drug—Esmolol Hydrochloride and Sodium Chloride Injection (100 mL)—which is deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation. This makes the company the third domestic manufacturer to receive approval for this product and the second to obtain approval for this specific dosage form. To date, the Group has secured approval for a total of 41 new products.

This makes the company the third domestic manufacturer to receive approval for this product and the second to obtain approval for this specific dosage form. To date, the Group has secured approval for a total of 41 new products.
According to available information, esmolol hydrochloride sodium chloride injection is primarily indicated for supraventricular tachycardia or non-compensatory sinus tachycardia, as well as intraoperative and postoperative tachycardia and/or hypertension.
Currently, the marketed products in this category include esmolol hydrochloride for injection, esmolol hydrochloride injection, and esmolol hydrochloride sodium chloride injection; all three dosage forms have been included in the 2022 National Reimbursement Drug List (Category B).
To date, the Group has had a total of 119 product specifications across 88 varieties that have either passed or are deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation.
