“Please state the theme of China’s National Work Safety Month for 2024.” “Safety for All, Emergency Preparedness for Everyone—Keeping Lifelines Unobstructed,” “Correct answer.”

“What are the safety colors specified by the state?” “Red, yellow, blue, and green—four colors.” “Correct answer.”

On the afternoon of June 21, a knowledge competition for “Safety Production Month” was in full swing in the multi-functional auditorium of the Economic Development Zone production area at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group.

To further enhance employees’ safety awareness and promote the sustained, healthy development of workplace safety within the enterprise, the Group organized a knowledge competition during “Safety Production Month.” Following preliminary rounds, 11 teams—each with a solid grasp of basic safety knowledge and strong compliance with safety regulations—advanced to the semi-finals and finals.

This competition is centered on the theme “Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—Keeping Lifelines Unobstructed,” and features question types such as mandatory questions, buzzer questions, and risk-based questions, all revolving around the Work Safety Law, the Law on Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases, and enterprise work safety regulations and rules. During the answering rounds, contestants worked closely together and were eager to compete; as soon as the buzzer was pressed, the action ensued, making the on-site contest exceptionally intense, with each participant showcasing their strengths.

The competition serves as both a battleground and a classroom. During the live audience buzzer-round, participants fiercely vied with one another, creating an electrifying atmosphere of eager participation and spirited competition. Attendees noted that by watching and taking part in the contest, they gained a wealth of practical safety knowledge that will be highly beneficial in both their professional and personal lives.

After fierce competition, the team representing the Storage and Transportation Department of the Warehousing and Logistics Center was awarded first prize; Teams No. 1 from Workshop 312 of the Second Manufacturing Center and Workshop 103 of the First Manufacturing Center were awarded second prize; and Teams No. 2 from Workshop 104 of the First Manufacturing Center, Team No. 2 from Workshop 103 of the First Manufacturing Center, and the team from the Comprehensive Inspection Department of the Quality Management Center were awarded third prize.

The head of the Group’s Safety Management Center stated that while the “Safety Production Month” campaign is phased in nature, strengthening safety management, enhancing safety skills, fostering a safety culture, and building a shared commitment to safety are endeavors that require sustained effort and unwavering dedication. Only by keeping the alarm for safe production constantly sounding can the safety philosophy of “everyone talks about safety, and everyone knows how to respond to emergencies” take deep root in people’s minds, enabling us to build an impenetrable “copper wall and iron barrier” for workplace safety through more pragmatic actions and thereby ensuring the Group’s high-quality, healthy development through high-level safety performance.
