On July 12, the 2024 Summer “Home Visit” Campaign, themed “Collaborative Efforts Between Home and School to Jointly Foster Student Growth,” organized by the School of Pharmacy at Hebei Medical University, made a visit to Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group.
To further strengthen the collaborative educational synergy among families, schools, and enterprises, the School of Pharmacy at Hebei Medical University has implemented a range of measures to promote students’ all-round development, deepen parents’ and students’ understanding of pharmaceutical companies’ work environments, corporate cultures, and job-specific competencies, build bridges for school–enterprise cooperation, and guide students in making informed career plans. To this end, during the summer break, the school organized visits and exchanges for selected parent representatives and students at well-known pharmaceutical firms—this constitutes one of the key components of the current large-scale “home visit” initiative.
The heads of relevant departments at the Group’s Strategic Development and Human Resources Center provided a detailed briefing to the visiting parents and students on the Group’s overall business scale, distinctive features of innovative development, industry standing, and future plans. They also enthusiastically highlighted the Group’s remarkable achievements in recent years in areas such as technological innovation and talent development, sharing with parents and students the powerful momentum and boundless appeal that innovation brings to corporate growth.
Stepping into the R&D center, parents and students are immediately struck by the bright, well-lit laboratories, the array of cutting-edge analytical instruments, and the welcoming tea lounge—each element a refreshing sight that stirs their hearts. “I never imagined the working environment here could be so excellent and the research atmosphere so vibrant; I’d feel completely at ease if my child were to work here after graduation.” “There are so many senior alumni here—it’s truly something to envy!”… As they walk through the facility, observing, asking questions, receiving thoughtful answers, and expressing one delighted remark after another, parents and students alike brim with anticipation and hope for both the Group’s and their own career development.
“This event is a concrete manifestation of university–enterprise collaboration, while also deepening parents’ and students’ understanding of the pharmacy major and pharmaceutical companies, thereby providing valuable reference and insights for their future career planning,” said a responsible official from the Group’s Strategic Development and Human Resources Center.
