On July 15, the inaugural session of the First Congress of Members of the Trade Union of Hebei Guolong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, was held to the rousing strains of the national anthem. An Zhenfen, Vice Chairperson of the Trade Union of the Shijiazhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone; Huang Xiaofeng, Member of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Group; and Li Zhihui, Chairman of Guolong Pharmaceutical, attended the meeting to extend their congratulations. A total of 40 member representatives from Guolong Pharmaceutical gathered in full force, fully aware of their responsibilities and diligently fulfilling their duties as union representatives. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Xuefei, Executive Deputy General Manager of Guolong Pharmaceutical.

Forty member representatives from Guolong Pharmaceutical gathered in full force, fully aware of their responsibilities, and diligently fulfilled their duties as union representatives. The session was chaired by Zhang Xuefei, Executive Deputy General Manager of Guolong Pharmaceutical.
The Preparatory Meeting of the Congress heard and deliberated on the “Report on the Preparation of the Congress” presented by Yin Jie and the “Report on the Examination of Delegates’ Qualifications” presented by Song Xiaofang. The meeting also provided explanations on the allocation of seats for member representatives, the proportion of official delegates, and the nomination of candidates for the Trade Union Committee, the Financial Audit Committee, and the Women Workers’ Committee.
At the opening ceremony of the conference, An Zhenfen, Vice Chair of the Trade Union of the Shijiazhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone, extended congratulations on behalf of the zone’s trade union. She stated that the Guolong Pharmaceutical Trade Union must thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, guide employees to unswervingly heed the Party’s words and follow its lead, firmly uphold the “two establishments,” and resolutely practice the “two safeguards.” It should take serving high-quality development as its central theme, advance the reform of the industrial workforce, steadfastly prioritize high-quality development as its primary task, and contribute Guolong Pharmaceutical’s strength to writing a new chapter in the zone’s efforts to build Chinese modernization.
At the meeting, the member representatives reviewed and approved the agenda for the congress, the draft regulations on the election procedure, and the proposed list of candidates for the first-term Trade Union Committee, the Financial Audit Committee, and the Women Workers’ Committee. Subsequently, through secret ballot, the members of the first-term Trade Union Committee, the Financial Audit Committee, and the Women Workers’ Committee of Guolong Pharmaceutical were elected. At the subsequent inaugural meeting of the first-term Trade Union Committee of Guolong Pharmaceutical, Yin Jie was elected Chairperson of the committee, Zhang Xuefei was elected Director of the Financial Audit Committee, and Wang Xuemei was elected Director of the Women Workers’ Committee.
Yin Jie, on behalf of the newly elected union committee members, delivered a statement. He stated that, in his future work, he would, in accordance with the rights and obligations conferred by the Trade Union Law and the Trade Union Charter, continuously refine the organization’s functions and improve its working mechanisms, ensuring that union work is carried out thoroughly, meticulously, and effectively. He pledged to unite and lead the broad membership of employees in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, upholding core principles while fostering innovation, thereby making a substantive contribution through the union to elevating the company’s high-quality development to a new level in the new era.
Li Zhihui, Chairman of the Group’s Guolong Pharmaceutical, extended his congratulations on behalf of the company’s management team to the newly elected union committee members. He stated that the company will wholeheartedly rely on its employees to build and develop the enterprise, vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship, and mobilize all employees to make outstanding contributions and drive innovation in the new era and on the new journey. The company will strive to pool the tremendous strength of unity and collective determination, thereby contributing Guolong Pharmaceutical’s share to advancing the Group’s high-quality development.
Huang Xiaofeng, on behalf of the Group and the Party Committee of the Group, extended congratulations on the establishment of the Guolong Pharmaceutical Trade Union and the election of its new executive committee. He stated that the founding of the Guolong Pharmaceutical Trade Union represents a major milestone in the political life of the workforce, and expressed the hope that the union will conscientiously fulfill its duties and mission, steadfastly focus on promoting the enterprise’s high-quality development, advance the reform of the industrial workforce, and carry out in-depth initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency and foster innovation-driven value creation. In doing so, the union will assume new responsibilities and achieve new accomplishments in furthering the continuous development of Guolong Pharmaceutical and the broader Group.
