On July 24, the 2024 New Employee Training Summary and Recognition Conference of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group was held in the R&D Center Auditorium. Leaders of the Group, including Qu Jiguang, Wu Hengyao, and Han Shuqin, joined more than 160 newly hired doctoral, master’s, and undergraduate graduates to discuss a promising future for strengthening the company through talent development.

At the meeting, Zhang Sumei, Deputy General Manager of the Group’s Strategic Development and Human Resources Center, summarized the current onboarding training program for new employees. She noted that, over the course of six intensive yet enriching days, more than 160 new hires transitioned from unfamiliarity to familiarity, undergoing a remarkable transformation from individual contributors to cohesive team members. They also gained a preliminary understanding of the Group’s core values and corporate culture, thereby laying a solid foundation for their future roles in key functions such as R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing.

Subsequently, Song Bo from the Group’s R&D Center and Zhao Guangning from the First Manufacturing Center, as representatives of the outstanding trainees, delivered statements. They pledged to take root at the grassroots level within the Group, harness the power of youth, truly integrate their personal aspirations into the enterprise’s broader mission, share the same breath and destiny with the company, and strive to write a new chapter in the Group’s innovative, high-quality development in the new era.

At the awards ceremony, Han Shuqin, Executive President of the Group, read out the “Decision on Commending Outstanding Teams and Individuals in the 2024 New Employee Training Program.”

To the accompaniment of cheerful music, representatives of individuals and teams who received the Rising Star Award, Outstanding Trainee Award, and Best Team Award took to the stage to accept their certificates of honor from Group leaders Qu Jiguang, Wu Hengyao, and Wang Lijiang, amid warm applause from the entire audience in celebration.

Amid warm applause, Qu Jiguang, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, delivered a speech. He highly commended the achievements and positive outcomes of this new-employee training program. He emphasized that today’s Siyao is experiencing its best period of development in its history, with an ever-expanding industrial chain and an increasingly robust foundation for innovation—creating an excellent platform and vast opportunities for everyone to pursue their dreams, grow and excel, and contribute through hard work and entrepreneurship.

To ensure that every new member of the Four Pharmaceutical family feels happy, comfortable, and at ease; to help them quickly integrate into the corporate culture and contribute effectively; and to enable them to better adapt to their roles and smoothly transition from “college graduates” to “professional employees,” Qu Jiguang put forward the following expectations and requirements for leaders at all levels of the Group as well as for newly hired staff: First, he urged young employees to courageously immerse themselves in frontline work, proactively step outside their comfort zones, and, through trial and error and rigorous experience, strengthen their willpower, build up their physical and professional capabilities, enhance their skills, and continuously improve themselves. Second, he emphasized the importance of lifelong learning—maintaining a humble, inquisitive mindset, seizing every opportunity to learn, honing one’s ability to learn effectively, and diligently cultivating solid competencies so that one’s thinking, perspective, and level of understanding keep pace with the ever-accelerating march of the times. Third, he encouraged young employees to be bold in putting knowledge into practice, firmly bearing in mind the principle that “empty talk harms the country, while practical action strengthens it,” thereby transforming what they have learned into genuine capability and, in an ever-changing world, finding their own path to success. Fourth, he called on the Group’s human resources department, all relevant functional departments, as well as the Party Committee, the Party Working Committee, and the Communist Youth League organization, to enhance the warmth and approachability of their work, to care for and pay close attention to new employees with sincerity, compassion, and dedication, and to actively foster a positive atmosphere and conducive conditions in which everyone can strive to develop their talents, in which talent development is accessible to all, and in which each individual is able to fully realize their potential.

The conference concluded with an oath-taking ceremony for newly hired employees. With their right fists raised, the new recruits solemnly pledged: “For the bright future of Sihua Pharmaceutical, we will dedicate our youth and strength.” This resolute oath conveyed the bold aspirations and unwavering determination of the new generation of Sihua professionals as they embark on a new journey of progress.

“Long live youth; a strong enterprise depends on me.” Newly hired employees unanimously expressed that the summary and recognition conference was inspiring and motivating, and that they would steadfastly uphold their convictions, cherish their youthful years, and strive to grow through challenges and broaden their horizons at the grassroots level. They pledged to contribute their youthful energy and dedication to the Group’s pursuit of innovative, high-quality development, thereby shining brightly and fulfilling their potential, and writing an extraordinary chapter in their lives.
