Recently, the Taizhou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and the Municipal Administration for Market Regulation jointly launched the selection process for the 2024 Taizhou City Top Ten Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievements by Employees, the Top Ten Advanced Operational Methods, and the Top Ten Invention Patents. Following expert review and public announcement in the media, a number of projects were awarded. Among them, the invention patent titled “Disposable Biomembrane and Its Preparation Method and Applications,” filed by Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group Jiangsu Bosheng Medical New Materials Co., Ltd., was recognized as one of the 2024 Taizhou City Top Ten Employee Invention Patents.

According to reports, the single-use biomembrane developed by Bosheng Medical Devices boasts exceptional barrier properties, high tensile strength, chemical compatibility, and low leachate levels—key attributes that ensure process biosafety—making it the preferred domestic alternative to imported products. “Only by firmly holding more proprietary intellectual property and core technologies in our own hands can we effectively address the ‘bottleneck’ challenges,” said the head of the patent project. To scale up mass production of the single-use biomembrane, Bosheng Medical Devices has not only intensified research on critical generic and cutting-edge enabling technologies but also pioneered the establishment in China of a multi-layer co-extruded biomembrane production line for single-use systems (SUS), thereby robustly meeting domestic market demand.
In recent years, Bosheng Medical Devices has remained focused on its core business and primary responsibilities, continuously advancing new-product R&D and technological upgrades while steadfastly implementing the innovation-driven development strategy and enhancing its capacity to generate original, independent innovations.
