On August 8, the group’s third session of the Internship Team-Building Camp officially commenced. More than 130 participants in this camp are primarily current interns from higher vocational colleges such as Hebei Chemical and Pharmaceutical Vocational Technical College, and they will spend the next year undertaking work-based internships at the group.

At the very start of the program, the Group’s Strategic Development and Human Resources Center meticulously organized an ice-breaking “warm-up” activity that quickly ignited everyone’s enthusiasm for team building. Participants eagerly stepped forward, each presenting creative team names and slogans. In no time, these young people who had previously been strangers found themselves either as teammates working together in harmony or as evenly matched rivals.

During the team-building exercises, each team member had a clearly defined role and gave their all, fostering mutual trust and seamless coordination. Teams engaged in intense competitions of both wit and speed, vividly showcasing the vibrant energy and spirited demeanor of young people in the prime of their lives.

During the thrilling “Drum-Beating Ball-Juggling” team challenge, members from each team worked closely together, pooling their efforts and giving it their all as they wholeheartedly immersed themselves in the competition, striving to fight for their team’s honor. With wave after wave of cheers and shouts of encouragement, the atmosphere at the venue repeatedly reached a fever pitch. An intern from Hebei Vocational College of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technology said excitedly: “I feel that this ice-breaking ‘welcome-new’ activity is not only fun but also highly meaningful. It has been tremendously helpful in strengthening our bonds, fostering unity, and enabling us to quickly adapt to our new environment, integrate into our new team, and step into our new roles.”

Attracting talent to invigorate enterprises and pooling capabilities for long-term success. In order to continuously enhance the overall competence of our workforce, meet the demands of the new era, new journey, and new mission for innovative, high-quality enterprise development, and better fulfill our social responsibilities, the Group has, since the beginning of this year, organized three cohorts totaling approximately 300 recent graduate students, undergraduates, and interns to participate in intensive team-building and outdoor training activities.

According to reports, the Hebei Provincial Alliance for Employment of College Graduates in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries was officially established earlier. As one of the alliance’s inaugural member organizations, the Group has proactively provided internship and employment opportunities for students by leveraging the complementary strengths of universities and enterprises and jointly developing practical training programs. The recent placement of students from higher vocational colleges such as Hebei Vocational College of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technology at the Group represents a vivid demonstration of the alliance members’ commitment to fulfilling their responsibilities.

Following the event, the interns unanimously expressed that they would cherish the internship platform provided by the Group all the more. Moving forward, they pledged to uphold the corporate ethos of “regarding yesterday as a step behind and treating today as a new starting point,” continuously honing and elevating their capabilities, and contributing their wisdom and efforts to both their own skill development and the Group’s high-quality growth.

“The team-building and outdoor training activities have powerfully inspired and energized the interns.” According to the head of the Group’s Human Resources Department, cultivating innovative talent and skilled personnel is an indispensable foundation and guarantee for driving high-quality enterprise development. Moving forward, the Group will continue to implement initiatives such as the “mentor-apprentice” program to systematically enhance professional competence and technical skills, refine the vocational skills grading and evaluation system, strengthen mechanisms for attracting, developing, retaining, and utilizing talent, smooth career advancement pathways for skilled workers, and proactively build stepping stones for the growth and career progression of young employees, thereby fostering the development and success of skilled professionals.
