Wu Lijuan, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairwoman of the Municipal Federation, and Li Zhiqing, Director of the Municipal Federation’s Committee for Female Employees, attended the event.

At the event site, representatives of the alliance members conducted a field visit to the Group’s digital and intelligent workshop, gaining firsthand insight into its construction and operations. They deeply experienced the technological transformation and conceptual renewal brought about by the “digital brain” and engaged in joint discussions on further enhancing the level of automation in production workshops.
During the exchange meeting, leaders of the Municipal Federation presented plaques to two new member institutions of the alliance: the Department of Biopharmaceutical Technology at Shijiazhuang Institute of Information Engineering and the Department of Food and Pharmaceutical Engineering at Shijiazhuang Vocational Technical College. These two institutions maintain close collaboration with the Group and other alliance members in advancing industry–education integration, employing an “order-based training” model to cultivate specialized talent tailored to specific industry needs.
As the lead organization of the alliance, Wei Saili, the inaugural chair of the alliance and deputy general manager of the Group’s R&D Center, chaired the symposium and exchange seminar, during which she summarized the progress made by enterprises since the alliance’s establishment in areas such as collaborative innovation, academic exchange, and technology matchmaking.
The “Yanzhao Women Craftsmen Biopharmaceutical Innovation Alliance” was established in December 2023. Its member organizations comprise enterprise R&D centers led by female scientists and engineers, model worker and craftsman innovation studios, hospitals, and universities. Since its inception, the Alliance has leveraged the distinctive professional expertise, meticulousness, keen insight, resilience, and critical thinking inherent in female science and technology professionals to collaboratively tackle key technologies, resolve technical challenges, and accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. To date, the Alliance has delivered more than 20 project outcomes, generated over RMB 50 million in sales revenue, secured more than 10 invention patents and high-level research publications, and launched two industry–education integration projects, thereby fostering a new landscape of complementary strengths and resource sharing.
During the exchange event, discussions were vigorous and constructive, with participants actively offering suggestions and recommendations on technical collaboration among member organizations and the commercialization of research outcomes, all in line with the Alliance’s 2024 work plan. This fully demonstrated the wisdom and strength of female scientists and engineers in Shijiazhuang’s biopharmaceutical industry.
Wei Saili stated that the next step will be to lead alliance members in further deepening collaborative efforts in technological innovation and talent development, thereby better leveraging the radiating and driving role of Shijiazhuang’s leading pharmaceutical enterprises. By building on the region’s resource endowments and industrial foundation, the alliance will cultivate new competitive advantages, accumulate new momentum for development, and inject fresh impetus into fostering new-quality productive forces and accelerating the high-quality development of the city’s biopharmaceutical industry.
