To further establish a platform for university–enterprise cooperation and comprehensively advance the deep integration of industry and education, Zhou Deying, Director of the Teaching and Research Section of the Pharmaceutical Engineering Program at the School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering of Cangzhou Institute of Transportation, recently led a delegation on a field visit to Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group. During the visit, they engaged in in-depth discussions with relevant company officials on industry–education integration and aligning talent development with industry needs.
To further establish a platform for university–enterprise cooperation and comprehensively advance the deep integration of industry and education, Zhou Deying, Director of the Pharmaceutical Engineering Teaching and Research Section of the School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering at Cangzhou Institute of Transportation, recently led a delegation on a field visit to Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., part of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group. During the visit, the delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with relevant company officials on industry–education integration and aligning talent development with industry needs.
A relevant official from Guangxiang Pharmaceutical extended a warm welcome to the college’s leaders and faculty members on their visit, and provided a detailed overview of the company’s current production and operations, R&D innovation, future development plans, and its demand for application-oriented, innovative talent. The official also stated that the company will maintain close communication and exchange with Cangzhou Vocational College of Transportation, actively expand platforms for university–enterprise cooperation, and further deepen and solidify practical collaboration in the cultivation of application-oriented talent.
Zhou Deying provided an overview of the college’s basic profile and outlined its key initiatives in areas such as program development and talent cultivation. She noted that, thanks to enterprise visits and efforts to expand employment opportunities, Guangxiang Pharmaceutical has achieved remarkable rapid growth. She expressed the hope that collaboration between the university and the company will be further strengthened, so as to promote high-quality employment for students while providing robust talent support for the development of the biopharmaceutical industry, thereby achieving mutually beneficial outcomes for both the institution and the enterprise.
According to reports, Cangzhou Institute of Transportation is a full-time, general undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was the Independent College—Beijing Jiaotong University Coastal College—established in 2008 by Beijing Jiaotong University, a nationally key university directly under the Ministry of Education. In 2020, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it underwent a transformation and was renamed Cangzhou Institute of Transportation. The School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering at the institute aims to cultivate high-caliber, application-oriented, innovative professionals in the field of chemical engineering and technology, and currently offers two undergraduate programs: Chemical Engineering and Technology, and Pharmaceutical Engineering.
