From December 10 to 12, the three-day CPHI Middle East 2024 pharmaceutical ingredients exhibition concluded in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group made a remarkable appearance with its key finished dosage forms, oral formulations, and specialty active pharmaceutical ingredients, collaborating with international buyers to explore new opportunities for global trade development.
According to available information, this year’s CPHI Middle East exhibition covers an area of approximately 30,000 square meters and features more than 400 exhibiting companies, the majority of which are from Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries. Compared with 2019, the exhibition’s scale has expanded by 80%, while the number of registered visitors has increased fivefold.
During the exhibition, the Group’s foreign trade team engaged in close exchanges with overseas clients, highlighting the company’s latest achievements in integrated API–formulation development. “Saudi Arabia is the most dynamic pharmaceutical market in the Middle East, boasting robust healthcare infrastructure across the region, with a market size exceeding USD 10 billion in 2023,” said the Group’s head of formulation export business. Through face-to-face interactions with customers, the team gained a deeper understanding of the Middle Eastern market’s characteristics and needs, laying a solid foundation for further market expansion. Over the course of the event, the team held discussions with more than 50 clients from the Middle East and North Africa, resulting in preliminary agreements on several cooperation initiatives.
In recent years, the Group has actively promoted integrated development of “active pharmaceutical ingredients plus finished dosage forms,” continuously unleashing innovative vitality and forging a seamless chain of R&D achievements that are increasingly clustered and synergistic. “Our product portfolio is becoming ever more diverse and comprehensive, and an expanding array of international certifications is helping us gain a foothold in global markets,” said the Group’s head of overseas formulation trade. Looking ahead, the Group will accelerate its “going out and inviting in” strategy, further expand its network of international business partners, broaden the scope and channels of international collaboration, and elevate the Group’s globalization to a new level.
