With the theme “Spring Breeze Brings Job Opportunities, Uplifting Hopes for the Future,” the event has become the “first stop of the year” for a two-way match between companies and talent.
At around 9 a.m., the red and blue exhibition tents at Liberation Square gradually unfolded in the morning light. On the backdrop wall of the Group’s booth—featuring China Red and Tech Blue as its primary colors—the prominently displayed job recruitment information immediately caught the eye, drawing crowds of job seekers who stopped to inquire. A recruitment specialist from the Group’s Strategic Development and Human Resources Center, who arrived early at the job fair, explained: “In recent years, the Group has accelerated its transformation and upgrading, continuously enhancing its capabilities in technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing, which in turn has raised the bar for employee qualifications. At this job fair, we are primarily targeting recent and upcoming graduates with bachelor’s degrees or higher, offering positions in areas such as production and manufacturing, drug R&D, and marketing to meet the company’s growing demand for diverse talent.”
Xiao Liu, a recent graduate from Xi’an Aviation University, carefully inquired at the booth about job openings and career advancement pathways. “Our company has implemented a management trainee program,” explained the group’s recruitment officer. “In the production workshops, dedicated technical staff and experienced mentors provide hands-on guidance to help newly hired students quickly familiarize themselves with the work environment and adapt to the pace of the company’s production and development.” The officer continued, “Over the years, many graduates who have joined frontline positions have demonstrated a down-to-earth, diligent, and pragmatic approach, focusing on developing their ability to solve real-world problems. Through practical experience in specific business areas, they have grown into independent professionals—true experts in their fields—and have achieved outstanding results in provincial and municipal skills competitions. Some have even gone on to take up grassroots management roles.” These remarks deeply resonated with Xiao Liu: “Compared with working in an office, I’m more eager to go to the front line to learn and master specialized technical skills, so I can better hone my abilities.”
The job fair was attended by many “return-to-home” job seekers. After graduating from university, Mr. Zhou has been working in Beijing, but today he made a special trip from his hometown in Yuanshi County: “Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has grown remarkably in recent years, with particularly strong R&D capabilities. Plus, it’s close to home, so I’m hopeful I can find a suitable position here.” Despite competing on the same stage as fresh graduates, he remained remarkably composed, saying, “I work in R&D and have four to five years of experience.” In response, a recruitment specialist from the group noted that while the company values the adaptability of recent graduates, it also relies on experienced professionals to drive technological innovation.
At the job fair, recruitment postings from the group’s subsidiaries—Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, Guolong Pharmaceutical, Hanlin Biotechnology, and Bosheng Medical Devices—also drew considerable attention from job seekers, with many approaching to learn more about the companies and the specific positions on offer.
As noon approached and the job fair drew to a close, a steady stream of job seekers continued to stop by the booth. According to statistics, the group’s booth hosted more than 300 job seekers, making it the most popular among the many recruiting companies at the event.
According to reports, this large-scale spring job fair in Hebei Province is co-hosted by the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. The event has mobilized 500 employers to conduct on-site recruitment, offering more than 10,000 high-quality job openings. The recruitment venue is divided into specialized zones for state-owned enterprises, well-known companies, emerging pillar industries (including biopharmaceuticals, next-generation information technology, advanced equipment manufacturing, and modern food), as well as recruitment areas for organizations based in Beijing and Tianjin. Both online and offline, the event has attracted over 50,000 job seekers from Hebei Province and the Beijing–Tianjin region.
