On May 29, Zhang Jinping, President of the U.S.–China Friendship Association, led a three-member delegation on a visit to Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group and toured the Group’s R&D Center. The visit was accompanied by relevant officials from the Shijiazhuang Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Group President Wu Hengyao, and Executive President and General Manager (Director) of the R&D Center (Pharmaceutical Research Institute), Sun Lijie.
On May 29, Zhang Jinping, President of the U.S.–China Friendship Association, led a three-member delegation on a visit to Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group and toured the Group’s Research and Development Center. The visit was accompanied by relevant officials from the Shijiazhuang Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Group President Wu Hengyao, and Executive President and General Manager (Director) of the R&D Center (Pharmaceutical Research Institute), Sun Lijie.
Wu Hengyao welcomed the delegation’s visit and provided an overview of the Group’s overall business portfolio, research and development innovation, and international expansion.
On the afternoon of the 29th, the Shijiazhuang Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, and several relevant enterprises held a symposium and exchange session with the delegation, to which the Group was invited to attend. Representatives from the participating enterprises engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with the delegation on issues such as market access for exporting products to the United States and potential cooperation models.
Zhang Jinping stated that, over the years, the U.S.–China Friendship Association has been committed to fostering people-to-people exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. With decades of deep roots in the United States and a solid foundation in cultural and humanitarian exchanges, the Association is also strategically located in New York—the “World Capital”—which provides it with inherent geographical advantages. Moving forward, the Association will actively create favorable conditions for Shijiazhuang-based enterprises to expand their global presence.
According to reports, the U.S.–China Friendship Association is a U.S. non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering U.S.–China friendship, founded in 1992 and headquartered in New York.
