This June marks the 24th National “Work Safety Month,” with the theme “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—Identifying Safety Hazards Around Us.” To thoroughly implement the national, provincial, and municipal directives on the 2025 “Work Safety Month” campaign, further strengthen enterprises’ primary responsibility for work safety, and enhance safety awareness across the board, the Group recently launched the 2025 “Work Safety Month” activities.
In line with the requirements of the Three-Year Campaign to Tackle Root Causes in Workplace Safety, this “Workplace Safety Month” initiative centers on the core task of “identifying safety hazards in our immediate surroundings.” Through a series of measures—including conducting cautionary education, organizing specialized workplace safety training, participating in Workplace Safety Month quiz activities, and carrying out hazard identification and remediation—this campaign aims to comprehensively enhance employees’ safety awareness and their ability to identify and address potential hazards. It also encourages employees to step forward as “whistleblowers” for workplace safety, further fostering a positive corporate culture in which all staff are engaged in and prioritize workplace safety, thereby providing a solid safety foundation for the enterprise’s high-quality development.
The Group will focus on key areas and critical links by launching a “Public Awareness Campaign on Hazard Identification” to disseminate the “Criteria for Determining Major Accident Hazards,” ensuring that all employees acquire basic knowledge of hazard identification and elimination. It will also initiate a “Safety Hazard Inspection Campaign” to encourage employees to identify safety hazards in their immediate work environment. The goal is to achieve “early detection, early reporting, and early remediation” of hazards, thereby nipping accidents in the bud. At the same time, with a strong emphasis on the “Company-Wide Safety Production Responsibility System” and “Team-Level Safety Management Development,” the Group will conduct in-depth hazard identification and remediation as well as risk-based tiered control, further strengthening risk awareness. By analyzing the entire chain of accident causation and focusing on critical links to implement preventive measures, the Group aims to prevent inadequate safety risk management from evolving into accident hazards and to ensure that undetected or unaddressed hazards do not escalate into actual accidents, thereby further enhancing employees’ safety awareness.
“Safe production is the lifeline of an enterprise, directly affecting the safety of employees’ lives and the stable development of the company,” said the group’s principal. Safe production is not only a “red line” but also a “bottom line.” We must take the “Safety Production Month” campaign as an opportunity to identify problems, eliminate hazards, address weaknesses, and strengthen areas of deficiency; rigorously enforce the principal responsibility of enterprises; enhance intrinsic safety; and lay a solid foundation for achieving the goals of “more than half completed in both halves of the year” and “a successful year overall.” By advancing high-level safety production management, we will drive the group toward high-quality development.
