On July 21, the Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group held a summary and awards ceremony for its 2025 new-employee training program in the Auditorium of the Production Zone in the Shijiazhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone. Group leaders Wu Hengyao, Han Shuqin, Shi Jianhui, Sun Lijie, Tian Pengmei, and 58 newly hired graduate and undergraduate employees gathered to jointly witness the mutual pursuit of youthful energy and corporate development.

At the meeting, Tian Pengmei, Group Executive President and General Manager of the Strategic Development and Human Resources Center, provided a comprehensive review of the 2025 new-employee training program. She noted that, through a week-long systematic training program, 58 recent graduate students and undergraduates from prestigious institutions such as China Pharmaceutical University and Shenyang Pharmaceutical University successfully made the initial transition from “campus life” to “professional life.” They gained a deep understanding of the Group’s core values—“producing high-quality medicines for the people”—as well as its comprehensive, end-to-end industrial-chain strategy, thereby laying a solid foundation for their future roles in key functions such as R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance.

Tang Shanliang, a doctoral graduate who joined the company in 2024, shared his journey from a research project participant to a project leader; Kang JiaShuo, an undergraduate, reflected on the importance of maintaining a “beginner’s mind” and cultivating skills through hands-on experience at the frontline; and Song Zixuan, a 2025 graduate and representative of new employees, stated in his address that he would always keep the mission of a pharmaceutical professional firmly in mind, align his personal growth with the overall development of the company, and strive to become a qualified member of SinoPharm.

During the recognition ceremony, the Group’s Strategic Development and Human Resources Center honored individuals who demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the training program. Group leaders presented awards to the five trainees who were named “Outstanding Rising Stars,” prompting a prolonged round of applause that underscored the Group’s high priority and strong expectations for nurturing new talent.

Subsequently, Wu Hengyao, President of the Group, delivered an enthusiastic welcome address to the Class of 2025 new employees. He expressed high appreciation for the fact that 58 outstanding graduates from renowned universities across the country have chosen Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group as the starting point of their professional careers. He stated, “Seeing this dynamic young team—comprising 37 master’s degree holders and 21 bachelor’s degree holders—join the Sihua family fills us with great satisfaction and unwavering confidence in our future development. On behalf of the Group’s Board of Directors and leadership team, I would like to extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you, esteemed graduates.”

In the face of technological transformation and intense employment challenges in the age of artificial intelligence, Wu Hengyao offered enthusiastic words of encouragement to the new employees. He emphasized that the Group is currently at the best stage of its development in history, with an ever-expanding industrial chain and an increasingly robust foundation for innovation, providing a broad platform for young professionals to pursue their dreams, grow and excel, and embark on entrepreneurial ventures. When both sides make a mutual commitment, the best outcome is for each to help the other achieve success.

Wu Hengyao emphasized that physical stamina is the foundation, capability is the safeguard, and mental fortitude is the key. He urged everyone to bravely take root at the front lines, squarely face the gap between expectations and reality, and immerse themselves in production, research, and market operations—braving challenges and broadening their horizons—to accurately define their roles through hands-on experience, strengthen their core competencies, and enhance their skills. It is essential to continuously deepen learning: in an era of rapidly evolving AI technologies, we must always maintain a thirst for knowledge, seek guidance from mentors, engage in mutual exchange with peers, and refine our understanding through practical application. We should seize opportunities to upgrade our capabilities and grow together with the enterprise. Moreover, we must remain pragmatic and action-oriented, adept at translating what we have learned into real-world expertise; start with small, incremental steps, practice diligently, accumulate experience, and steadily build our capabilities, so as to stay on course amid change and deliver tangible value.

Wu Hengyao emphasized that every young talent is a precious asset and the cornerstone of the enterprise’s future. It is the shared responsibility of the entire Group to cultivate them into builders of high-quality development. All departments within the Group, together with Party, trade union, and Youth League organizations, must work in concert to show genuine care and concern for employees, effectively address their practical difficulties, and actively foster a positive environment in which everyone strives to develop their talents and fully demonstrates their capabilities, thereby providing solid support for attracting, retaining, and uniting talent.

The conference reached its climax with a resounding oath.
