With unified resolve and concerted effort, we will make a strong start and set the stage for robust progress. From December 30 to 31, 2025, the Group’s 2026 Strategic Objectives Launch Conference was held in the R&D Center Auditorium. Leaders Qu Jiguang, Su Xuejun, Wu Hengyao, and other senior executives, together with mid- and senior-level managers from the Group’s various centers, business units, and subsidiaries, gathered to jointly map out an ambitious blueprint for the Group’s high-quality development in 2026 and during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The conference was chaired by President Wu Hengyao.

At the meeting, Wu Hengyao first provided an overview of the Group’s work on formulating its 2026 policy objectives.

During the policy and objective presentation session, 32 heads from the Group’s various centers, business units, and subsidiaries took to the stage one after another, passionately outlining their plans for the comprehensive implementation of the 2026 goals and tasks. Following the presentations, Group leaders provided focused feedback and guidance.

Amid warm applause, Qu Jiguang, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, delivered a speech. He noted that in 2025, under the combined pressures of shrinking demand, deepening policy measures, and intensifying industry competition, the Group’s operations faced an exceptionally severe test. Yet in the face of these challenges, the vast majority of managers and employees turned pressure into motivation, embracing innovation and change while maintaining a pragmatic and enterprising attitude, and sparing no effort to break through barriers and drive the company forward. Given the daunting circumstances confronting industrial development, achieving these results was no easy feat. On this occasion, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to managers at all levels and to every employee who has devoted their energy and made significant contributions to the Group’s innovative development over the past year.

With 2026 as the focal point for our business operations, Qu Jiguang emphasized that this year marks the inaugural year of the 15th Five-Year Plan—and, more importantly, a pivotal year for our transformation and upgrading, for reshaping our competitive advantages, and for achieving new heights of success. He outlined four key priorities: first, to comprehensively reinforce the leading role of marketing in driving business performance and enhancing quality and efficiency; second, to leverage the exploration of new markets and the creation of new business opportunities as levers for continuously cultivating new momentum for foreign trade growth; third, to strengthen our core R&D capabilities and establish an integrated R&D and innovation hub spanning formulations, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and pharmaceutical packaging materials; and fourth, to continually elevate the modernization of our production and management processes, thereby solidifying the foundational support for the Group’s sustained development. He warmly encouraged all employees to summon the courage to overcome challenges, maintain strategic resolve, bolster their confidence in victory, proactively identify, adapt to, and pursue change, dare to engage in and excel at struggle, and, guided by a spirit of historical initiative, surmount obstacles, confront risks, and rise to challenges. By concentrating our efforts on doing our own work well and adopting a “start with a decisive battle” mindset, we will resolutely win the tough battle for 2026’s business development, write a new chapter of innovative growth, and energetically usher in a new phase in the enterprise’s pursuit of Chinese-style modernization.

Opportunities lie in times of change, and challenges only serve to ignite our drive and determination; the participants were deeply inspired. All agreed to set their sights on new objectives, adopt a “nailing-down” approach to rigorous implementation, ensure the comprehensive and effective achievement of all key tasks and targets for 2026, elevate the Group’s development to a new level, and strive to make fresh contributions to the high-quality development of Shijiazhuang’s biopharmaceutical industry.
