All efforts must be made to ensure a stable supply of critical medical supplies and epidemic-prevention materials, meet the needs of medical rescue and the general public, and support the overall national effort to contain the epidemic.
Six products manufactured by Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.—arbidol hydrochloride, moxifloxacin hydrochloride sodium chloride injection, azithromycin, levofloxacin lactate injection, sodium bicarbonate injection, and sterile water for injection—have been included in the drug reserve lists of 12 provinces during this epidemic prevention and control effort. During the Spring Festival, the company swiftly mobilized its core workforce to ramp up production and, in response to requests for product shipments from Hubei Province, Wuhan, and other areas, arranged three consecutive batches of supplies within a week to provide full-scale emergency support.
Xu Qin visited the site to gain a detailed understanding of the production capacity, stockpiles, and distribution arrangements for pharmaceuticals used in combating the epidemic. He expressed his gratitude for the company’s swift response to the crisis and its commitment to serving the overall national effort. He stated that whatever the Wuhan frontline needs, the company will do its utmost to provide it—overcoming all obstacles, mobilizing every available resource, and making every possible effort to ensure the supply of key epidemic-control medications, thereby addressing the urgent needs of Wuhan, Hubei Province, and the nation as a whole.
Xu Qin emphasized that epidemic prevention and control is currently at a critical juncture. All levels and departments must resolutely implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, strengthen the “four consciousnesses,” bolster the “four confidences,” and uphold the “two safeguards,” putting the safety and health of the people first. It is imperative to fully comply with the unified leadership and command of the Party Central Committee and to follow the deployment and arrangements of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and other relevant authorities in ensuring the comprehensive supply of key materials. We must accelerate the resumption of production at enterprises manufacturing medicines, masks, protective suits, and other essential supplies, expand production capacity as needed, and promptly coordinate to resolve difficulties related to funding, labor, energy, and industrial-chain support that these enterprises face in resuming operations. Special attention should be given to coordinating transportation, keeping logistics flowing smoothly, establishing and improving green channels for the supply of critical materials, and implementing the requirements for nationwide unified organization of production, dispatch, and distribution, so as to make Hebei’s contribution to securing victory in the battle against the epidemic.
