The 102 Oral Dosage Form Workshop of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical has gained widespread recognition for its production of the antiviral drug arbidol hydrochloride capsules. Shijiazhuang Sihua is one of only five pharmaceutical companies in China authorized to manufacture arbidol formulations, and this product has played a positive role on the front lines of epidemic prevention and control. Since January 24—the eve of the Lunar New Year—workshop employees have been working around the clock to produce arbidol hydrochloride capsules, as well as traditional Chinese medicines such as heat-clearing and detoxifying oral liquids and Yiqing granules, all of which are urgently needed on the front lines of pandemic response.
