With a warm and comforting tone, the issue was delivered into the hands of employees.

Recently, special-issue articles—featuring text, images, and videos—were published on the official website of Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and the “Shi Si Yao Employee e-Jia” WeChat public account, sparking an enthusiastic response among employees. Shares, comments, likes, tributes, and heartfelt expressions of admiration poured in—from company leaders to rank-and-file staff, from the featured subjects of the news to media colleagues—all fervently discussing this monumental chronicle of Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical’s fight against the epidemic and lauding the company’s pivotal role in this people’s war.

“Seeing this special issue fills my heart with profound emotion.” “These are all precious materials—testimonies to our hard-fought battle against the epidemic—and we will certainly preserve and cherish them carefully.” Early that morning, employees gathered in front of the bulletin board at the entrance to the oral dosage-form workshop, flipping through the newly delivered special issue, moved and deeply reflective.

“As I turned page after page of the newspaper and read each article with care, the entire scene of epidemic prevention and production vividly came to mind—mission, commitment, and responsibility—and a profound sense of pride welled up in my heart,” said Rong Yanyan, director of the oral dosage-form workshop, visibly moved upon seeing the thick special issue.

“The four large characters ‘Guarding Spring’ on the cover are strikingly prominent, instantly transporting me back to the scene on January 23 when we received the order and set out. For more than 60 days and nights, every single one of us has been fighting on the front lines of production, providing the ‘food and ammunition’ needed to win the battle against the epidemic.” Since receiving the mission and assembling on New Year’s Eve, Rong Yanyan has now held her “position” in this fight against the epidemic for over two months. “The Arbidol capsules and disinfectants produced by our team have been continuously delivered to the very forefront of epidemic prevention and control. As a ‘pharmaceutical professional,’ I am truly proud!”

Upon seeing his own story featured in the special issue, truck driver Zhang Yongqin shared a copy of the newspaper with his colleague beside him. “I felt both inspired and deeply moved,” he said. “The special issue chronicles the ‘Shisiyao Speed’ achieved in the resolute fight to win the people’s war, the overall battle, and the decisive battle against the epidemic. We are not merely witnesses to this chapter of history—we are its firsthand participants.”
