Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Awarded the Provincial Government Quality Award and Commended Across the Province

A total of 23 organizations, including Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., were awarded the “2019 Hebei Provincial Government Quality Award,” and 11 individuals were commended at the conference.

On December 10, the Provincial Conference on Deepening the Strategies of Building a Province Strong in Quality and Promoting Standardization was held in Shijiazhuang. A total of 23 organizations, including Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., were awarded the “2019 Hebei Provincial Government Quality Award,” and 11 individuals were commended at the conference. The conference also announced the results of the 2019 municipal-level government quality assessment and the status of the promulgation of local standards in our province, and made arrangements for further advancing the strategies of building a province strong in quality and promoting standardization. The meeting read out instructions from Wang Dongfeng, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, and Xu Qin, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, on deepening the implementation of these two strategies. Vice Governor Xia Yanjun attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
In his instructions, Wang Dongfeng emphasized that implementing the strategies of building a province strong in quality and advancing standardization is of paramount importance to Hebei’s overall reform and development. Since the beginning of this year, all levels of government and relevant departments across the province have earnestly carried out the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and vigorously launched quality-improvement initiatives, thereby providing robust support for achieving dual victories in routine COVID-19 prevention and control and in economic and social development, as well as for successfully concluding the three major undertakings. In the face of new circumstances and new tasks, all sectors of the province must thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions and the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, focusing on upholding the new development philosophy, fostering a new development pattern, and promoting high-quality development. To this end, we must deepen the implementation of the strategies of building a province strong in quality and advancing standardization, continuously deepen supply-side structural reform, comprehensively promote innovation in science and technology, management, and services, cultivate and strengthen leading enterprises and industrial clusters, vigorously develop product brands, corporate brands, and regional brands, and accelerate the establishment of a modern industrial system. In doing so, we will ensure a strong start to the 14th Five-Year Plan period and make greater contributions to building Hebei into an economically powerful and beautiful province.
In his instructions, Xu Qin pointed out that in 2020, all levels and relevant departments across the province adhered to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as their guiding principle, conscientiously implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee as well as the work requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, and vigorously carried out the strategies of building a province strong in quality and promoting standardization. Efforts were focused on establishing a comprehensive framework for quality governance, standardization, and regulatory oversight, thereby providing robust support for innovative development, green development, and high-quality development. In the face of new tasks and requirements in the new stage of development, it is imperative to unswervingly implement the new development philosophy and foster a new development pattern, with the theme of promoting high-quality development, supply-side structural reform as the central task, and reform and innovation as the fundamental driving force. We must launch in-depth special campaigns to enhance quality and strive to open up a new chapter in building a province strong in quality and advancing standardization.
The meeting called for all levels and relevant departments to further consolidate the foundation of quality, strengthen professional capabilities, promote the entrepreneurial spirit and the craftsman spirit, and accelerate transformation in quality, efficiency, and growth drivers. It emphasized the need to reinforce standards-led development by benchmarking against world-class standards and performance levels, enhancing the creation, protection, and application of intellectual property, and stimulating innovation across society. It also stressed the importance of strengthening quality management, advancing a multi-stakeholder governance model for quality system building, and firmly upholding the bottom line of quality and safety. Furthermore, it urged focusing efforts on key platforms and initiatives—namely, serving the “three major undertakings,” driving quality improvements in priority sectors, implementing the four standard-setting projects, consolidating the foundations for quality development, deepening reforms in quality work, and ensuring that the public’s quality needs are met—in order to continuously achieve new breakthroughs in building a province strong in quality and in advancing the standardization strategy.
Since being awarded the 2015 Hebei Provincial Government Quality Award, Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical has relentlessly pursued excellence in performance, diligently studied and adopted advanced management practices, and embraced the implementation of the Excellence Performance Model as a strategic initiative for continuous improvement, the pursuit of excellence, the building of a quality-driven enterprise, the enhancement of innovation capacity, and the strengthening of market competitiveness. Following its initial receipt of the 2015 Hebei Provincial Government Quality Award, the company successfully passed a re-assessment and was once again honored with the 2019 Hebei Provincial Government Quality Award.
